I would not recommend this restaurant. I was ready to eat something exciting after my appointment across the street. I was fasting all day. Boy I was disappointed. If you’re looking for something authentic, go to the northeast side of Chicago, iykyk. I ordered the appetizer combo. It’s basically fried food that was previously frozen served with sauce I could’ve bought from the grocery store. I expressed my opinion of their basic appetizer after the host asked. I requested a suggestion for the red snapper. They have three different variations on the menu. The host recommended the salmon. Saying it was authentic Thai. Unfortunately, that disappointed me as well, the salmon was overcooked. I ended up not eating my meal and not taking home any leftovers. What really made my evening worse was the dishonesty of the host. I drank four Thai beers (Singha). He provided two beers on the house. In total I drank six beers. I’m not proud of that but I have a higher tolerance. Especially with the lovely micro breweries in the city. Anyway, I get the bill and he charges me seven beers but give me one for free. Then this man lies to my face after trying to correct it. Anyway, I’m done. Imagine drinking so much alcohol and still not satisfied by the food and getting cheated. This place is for the community of Elmhurst. Everyone else, go to the place you know and love. This place is not worth the travel or your money. This restaurant caters to the basic appetite of the residents of Elmhurst. Skip this place if you’re looking for an authentic taste. Those of you who decide to patron, check your receipt. They may be stealing.

FOURTH update. New owners. All new recipes. Prices went WAY up. $18 per dish. The dish I tried there was too much oil and the oil had a burnt or over used flavor. Noodles on point. I asked for medium spice there was zero. It waslike Polish food with rice noodles . Atmosphere was so-so. Prices were again were far too much. Will never be back here again. Third Update: Things are back on track! They are putting more meat into their dishes and the service has gotten much better. My gold standard is Ni Hao, also in Elmhurst that has Thai, Chinese and sushi (only on weekends after 4pm) but regarding Thai food they are just as good! Quantity is less but the quality is there. Nathans Noodles down the road has gotten very bad DuPage County health violations so I stopped going there. Atmosphere is calming with modern upscale music playing. Very clean environment with powerful color arrangements. The service was top notch and Peter the manager is beyond welcoming, helpful and brings the whole experience to life. The food was a 8.5 out of 10. Colorful and fresh. I was hoping for stronger flavors of citrus and or heat/spice. But that's just my taste. And after a lime wedge and chili oil my wishes were made true! Prices are on point. I will be back often.

Update Review; The restaurant is now under a new ownership, the review you ll see below is based on old experience, I’m yet to go in to the food under the new management, I hope it’s as good or at least close enough. The Pho was so good! I had the pho with shrimp and I added some Tofu. I came here based on other people’s review and I was not disappointed. I’ve been to one other place that was quiet underwhelming so I needed to get it right this time 😅 I added some extra hot sauce to make it very spicy and I was good to go. I recommend. I forgot to ask for the server’s name but he’s one of the most pleasant server I’ve ever met! So Thank you for much.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since I drive pass it often. Today me and my husband tried it the first time for lunch. Very very good. My husband is very particular when it comes to Asian food since he is Asian himself and has his spots in the city we visit. We ordered a few things to share and try. The portions are very generous and we ordered too much as usual but we wanted to try several things. We had the shrimp soup in coconut milk and veggies ( I can't remember the name). Very good. I would come back for that. Also we had the Papaya salad. To me, this was the only thing I probably wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad, but I prefer my husbands which is hotter and a few more things in it. Then we ordered a chicken skewer with a peanut curry sauce. This was great. Very tender and the sauce omg . I asked the server if he could bring a tiny little bowl with some pho broth to taste it. My husband is a pain in the butt about his pho in the suburbs. He approved of it. That's a complement to them then haha. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp Thai spice level. And omg yesss! So good. I can't wait to take my older son here, he will love it. My husband got the glass noodles with crispy duck. It was so darn good and the duck was perfect. Soft, crispy but not oily. We also had Thai tea. Very good. We will definitely be back to try more...
