What can I say, Woodys is awesome! Couple of my friends and I went to Woodys for a bite to eat, and a couple beers. There was a decent sized crowd, but we got a table right away. Our server came over right away, and gave us some recommendations for food and drinks, and she was very pleasant! We started off with some appetizers and had the Hawk Wings and the Tater Kegs. The Hawk Wings with Buffalo sauce were great! Our server said they are always fresh, and never frozen. The Tater Kegs made with potatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon, and chives were delicious as well ! Next, I ordered the Cowboy Burger. I am pretty picky about my burgers, but gave it a shot. All I can says is: WOW! The 1/2 lb. burger had cheddar cheese, bacon, onion strings, and bbq sauce. I now have a new go to as my favorite burger! It was juicy and delicious down to the last bite. I didn't think about taking a picture until after I devoured it! Hopefully next time I will remember to take one. I washed everything down with a nice tall cold Krombacher Pilsner beer which was great. Woodys is a great sports bar and a great place to watch sports. They have big screen tvs everywhere, so there isn't a bad seat in the house to catch a game! We got our tab, and couldn't belive how reasonably priced and delicious everything was compared to other sports bars. If you haven't been to Woodys yet, you are definitely...
Read moreI'm disappointed in Woody's lately. Pre-pandemic we were regular customers and drank/dined there regularly. We have started going back to Woody's and have visited 3 times in the last 6 months and it's not up to their previous standards. Our food was just OK but not as outstanding as it once was. Our group ordered sandwiches and when I asked how their sandwiches were, their response " It's OK". (Not particularly enthusiastic) The fish tacos were very good though. The bartenders don't care about their craft. I ordered a Guiness and the first one came out with a terrible looking frothy head (the tall male bartender poured it). I walked over to our server and said this is a terrible pour and should be repoured. The second came out even worse, see attached picture. Yes, I'm particular about my Guiness. I've had conversations with the owner Dan and in the past complimented him and his bartenders on the patience they take in pouring a proper pint. The last two visits have been unsatisfactory. I also noticed on our last 3 visits that the owner was not on-site. I think this is part of the problem along with his bartenders not caring about the product they serve. I was a big fan of Woodys and posted 5-star reviews in the past. Dan, I hope you read this review and take this as constructive criticism. (Most recent visit:...
Read moreI went to Woodys with a couple of coworkers for drinks. I've never experienced bad service until this day! The bartender/server KIM was rude and very unprofessional. One of my coworkers who is a regular was there waiting for my friend, her family and I to arrive. KIM'S demeanor was not welcoming. Cold not friendly at all to us, but kind to my other friend that's a regular, KIM made sure to serve him well. After said friend left, I was told KIM is only kind to her regulars and gravitates to them even though it's not her table to serve. I don't think that's fair to the other servers that work there. KIM only served him and had another server Valentina serve my other friend, her family and I. We were all sitting at the same table, I don't understand why KIM did that! KIM was even dismissive to Valentina! Perhaps because Valentina is new there!?? KIM was shady giving her back to us as she brought "her regular" his beer and cheese curds. I ordered a Mojito which KIM made. The Mojito tasted horrible...like seltzer. Not how a Mojito should taste! A bartender should know how to make drinks not just serve beer. On the other hand Valentina was very attentive and sweet. IF... I were to go back to Woodys I would ask for Valentina to serve me again. AND HOPE THAT KIM IS NOT MY...
