Like many times before, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Hana in Affton, Missouri, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect ambiance for a delightful meal.
The star of the evening, however, was our waiter, Justin. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. Justin’s knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he took the time to explain the different sushi rolls and specials, helping us make the best choices. His recommendations were spot-on, and we could tell he genuinely cared about our dining experience.
The sushi at Sushi Hana is nothing short of spectacular. Each roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried a variety of rolls, including the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Caterpillar Roll, and every bite was a delight. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the chefs’ skill in preparing the sushi was top-notch.
What truly set this dining experience apart was the exceptional service provided by Justin. He was always nearby to refill our drinks, answer any questions, and ensure we had everything we needed. His friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made our meal even more enjoyable.
In conclusion, Sushi Hana is a must-visit for sushi lovers in the St. Louis area. The combination of delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service from waitstaff like Justin makes it a standout restaurant. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another fantastic meal...
Read moreAMAZING!! LIKE SHOCKINGLY AMAZING! Ok so after a fun day at Six Flags my extra son (my daughters friend) was still owed a birthday dinner. So I asked him what he wanted and he says sushi. From our location I find several spots on the way back to the house. Out of 3 choices this is where he chose and we're so happy he did. First the customer service was great. Immediately greeted and seated. Drink orders came out right away. Appetizers came right after that. We never had to ask for refill, plates, or anything the entire night and they were very nice. The kids loved EVERYTHING, we had no food to take home. The squid salad and seaweed salad were so good and fresh we had to get 2nd orders. The dumplings were also a big hit. The miso soup, was delicious and had a couple special touches I had not had before. Every sushi roll was perfectly portioned with rice, filling and sauce. The spicy tuna was a big favorite. A very simple dish that had excellent execution. I have to say my children and my extra children have amazing manners and I think the server and the owner appreciated that because once I let them get ice cream and told them it was for his birthday, they all came over and offered him ice cream too and gave a spoon to each of us. And we all discovered that the fried bananas and red bean ice cream were both delicious and really good together. And yes it was a small gesture but I appreciated it very much. By the outside you would drive by, by the parking you would rethink your choice but I'm driveline glad I decided to go inside! I can't...
Read moreStarting off by saying the waiter who served us was great! Nothing bad to say there. My wife and I decided to go out for dinner one night, which has been somewhat rare recently. We decided to try the new sushi place that opened up less than a mile from our house. We ordered familiar rolls and we were treated to miso soup to begin. The miso soup had mushrooms or something similar in it that were cut too large and were somehow super rubbery and tough to chew. Then our sushi came out. My fried california roll was replaced with a fried philly roll, and the other roll I received was described as having 5 kinds of fish inside, one of those kinds of fish could have been replaced by a rubber band and the meal would have been the same. Couldn't finish our meal, and when the waitress came back she knew something was wrong I tried to tell her it wasnt out taste to be polite, my wife said it was fine, but we wanted the check. The brought one final insult to the table disguised as a gift. It was a section of pineapple garnished with a maraschino cherry. My wife and I took turns pulling the alternating segments of pineapple from the slice and only the cherry was left. My wife said I could have it. WINNER! Or so I thought. I grabbed the cherry and flipped it over to see green tomato seeds inside. IT WAS A CHERRY TOMATO! So glad i didnt eat it expecting a cherry, i may have had those five types of fish come back up. My wife was equally...
