Rocky Mountain Seafood is a charming fish and chips / seafood market that EXCEEDS all expectation of finding great seafood so far from the docks. The charm is only outmatched by the food. We got the fish and chips...I played it straight and got cod, and my wife got salmon. Cod was a little small, but made up for it in tastiness. The salmon was especially good. And the fries...crisp, battered, warm. The coleslaw was great, and not too creamy. A few carrot slivers or radish bits might have excited this side a bit, but no real complaints. The timeliness was what you would expect from a place like this, we had our food in front of us within ten minutes. Service - great, friendly, not intrusive or awkward. I had the special for Thursday - Cod basket and it was yummy! My wife got the coconut shrimp basket and she loved it! We also sampled the pickle fries- definitely good! One friend had the halibut basket and another the chicken tender basket. Everything was served hot with generous portions. I did want more lemon, and none was out for self service like the ketchup, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce.
The restroom was clean and convenient. The decor also made for a nice environment. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’d stop in again if I was back...
