Fancy Bagels Agawam — Restaurant in Agawam

Bagels/food are the best around !!! However very disappointed in the flow of the Agawam store. Too tight in the area of the ordering window and unless you're standing/facing in front of that window, you can't see the wall menu, it should be visible for those lined up on the "red carpet" waiting . Southwick setup much nicer in general. Biggest flaw for me as a heavy person: Booths are WAY too tight, 2 big people can't fit comfortably. No its not your fault I'm fat, but Americans are Big these days, and the booths are simply too close together. I understand you have limited space, but I'd rethink the setup in there. Just feedback, its not a catastrophe, but the place just did not have a good comfortable intuitive flow, tight bottleneck near order window, and both experiences so far were at very slow time of day, I can't imagine how it is when its busy. I'd turn the order window around facing the front windows/door people walk in straight, wait in line, place order ahead of them, then move right to fix their coffee/wait for orders etc, ....and loosen up those booths!! Long winded, sorry. But even if you ignore this, I'm still a fan, the bagels are...

I stopped by Fancy Bagel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, but the bacon was undercooked. I also ordered a frozen coffee, which never came while we were eating. We sat there for about 40 minutes and asked multiple times about the drink — we were told it wasn’t ready or that there were several orders ahead of us.

When we finally finished eating and I went to ask for a refund, suddenly the frozen coffee was “ready.” The entire visit felt disorganized. Pickup orders were piling up with no one helping customers. When an employee finally came over, he didn’t even ask who was waiting or check names — people ended up sorting through the bags themselves.

Overall, the place was chaotic and uncoordinated. It’s disappointing because the food could have been decent if the experience wasn’t so...

It’s so nice to have a new place to stop for coffee and a bagel or sandwich with friends. The atmosphere, food quality and service was great. The bagels are generously sized and delicious and there were several coffee varieties to choose from - everything is reasonably priced!
