Lucky Garden — Restaurant in Ahoskie

I live in Murfreesboro and go to China Garden all the time so I thought I'd try something new. I read all the reviews and chose this place because someone said the boneless ribs were amazing and China Garden does not have that. Also, mostly everyone gave it 4 or 5 stars. Why, I dont know... So I order the boneless ribs and they were so so, until I got to the piece of hair in it! Gross! I ordered pork egg rolls and didnt see any pork. I liked the crispiness of the egg roll but the flavor...meh. The real kicker, which was our main dish to share, was the chicken and broccoli. How can they screw that up? Its probably one of the easiest dishes to make. It was the worst I ever had. No flavor whatsoever! China Gardens blows them away. We gave all the chicken to the dog and threw out the broccoli. My main reason for choosing this Chinese place ,besides the reviews, was that they advertise that it's like New York. Well I'm from N.Y. and they dont even come close! I complain how we barely have any good chinese or Italian food here. After trying this place and Vito and Sons with their frozen meatballs, I thank God for Napolis and China Garden, which is where we ended up...

Food is hot especially their chicken wings, taste wonderful and a nice size. Tried their Lemonade in a pint plastic cup with a lid..😍Oh my goodness delicious (drink about half of it before you know it). Usually food is ready to go when you get there. This time a few new faces so it was made once I got there not to long of a wait. I Enjoyed. Gets lots for your money. One of the BEST around. When family comes home one of the first places...
