Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Aiken County

Customer service is what lowered our experience. We tried to order 4 sandwiches and 4 fries but the worker cut us off mid order. So at the window we checked our order and there were no fries. We ordered some, paid for them, and that was when the employee taking orders had a fit. We could hear her shouting and yelling about how we already ordered so we don't get fries and about how she wouldn't give us fries. Now I've worked fast food so I understand that it can throw off the order line on the computer but thats no reason to shout and yell. It might have been that the employee in question was just having a bad day but listening to her yell at the window really put a damper on the experience. As for the food, we ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwiches and 1 regular, and 4 fries. I loved the spicy sandwich. It was spicier than Chik Fila and the breading was crisper. The pickles were thicker giving a better flavor. My wife thought hers had less flavor but my son and I liked ours better than Chik Fila. My daughter liked her sandwich, the regular chicken sandwich, but was disappointed that hers didn't come with pickles. The fries looked good and seasoned but the flavor was bland and just regular. One thing we all noticed is that the bun gets soggy quickly. We drove straight home after getting our order and ate right away and by the time we were finishing our sandwiches the buns were soggy. All in all, we won't be going back anytime soon. Mostly because of the service. I may prefer Popeyes spicy sandwich to Chik Fila, but I prefer Chik Fila's fries and service, and since the prices at Popeyes weren't any better, I'll be going to Chik Fila for...

This one of the worst Popeyes I ever been to in my life. I went to get $20 meal with 10 chicken tenders or 10 pieces of chicken, 2 large sides, and according to drive thru menu 5 biscuits but I know for a fact it's four biscuits! Anyways I was notified it would take 20 minutes for the tenders. So I decided ok give me chicken but I want half spicy and half mild. Shakyra W. proceeds to tell me we are out of mild. I was like whatever give me whatever you have. The reason I couldn't get tenders was cause apparently they only have ONE fryer. So I asked for red beans and rice and green beans for my two large sides. However, I'm then told by Shakrya W. that they are out of red beans and rice. So I decided ok give me green beans and mashed potatoes. Now first what Popeyes runs out of red beans and rice!!!! I proceed to drive thru window where I over heard Shakyra W tell her manager that they only have 4 pieces of mild. I'm like so this staff not only liars cause Shakyra W had told me thwt were out of mild chicken but whatever. So I get my food get home to fix my family their plates open chicken and no joke it's BURNT! So I grab receipt to call yep phone number on receipt is a fax...

Food is good once you finally get it...and if it's the right thing. This location was rough and has been the last 3 times. I held out on reviewing thinking it was just not their day, but they had 4 tries. Each time there was something... They were closed at 1pm on a Friday, their credit card machine didn't work, and they couldn't accept cash, only allowed mobile orders and their drive through menu has not worked the last 2 times.

Today we sat in the drive thru line for almost 15 minutes and no one said anything over the speaker. Went inside and they made sure they got everyone's mobile order, door dash out before taking anyone's order who was waiting in line.

The lady who seemed to be in charge did apologize for the wait like 15-20 times the entire time I was there. She was nice. The others just kinda wandered around looking at screens and just guessing on what order came next. You would think a place as popular as this would be managed a little better.
