Waffle House — Restaurant in Aiken County

Showed up at a little after 7p.m. tonight I was the only person in there when I went in, Noone to be seen or heard then the waitress comes into the building apparently she was out in the car we parked next to with a friend she walked past me didn't acknowledge me went to the back then came back out and told me it would be 30 plus minutes due to the grills are being cleaned mind you I'm staring at the unattended grills, then she walked back out and got back in the car to visit whoever.. so I then left well 20 or so minutes after I left I realized I left my card on the counter top I had it in my hand when I went in there so we drove all the way back and she was still in the car outside there was still Noone at the grills and luckily my card was sitting there, we went across the street to McDonald's and while there I watched 3 cars pull up enter the building exit and then leave due to no service, I don't know how owners to these establishments are allowing this kind of...

Usually come in order coffee and possibly something to go. I sit and drink my coffee for about 20 to 25 minutes. There are 2 male wait staff that look after me. Today I had a blonde woman. One gentleman get my oder for coffee when I come out of RR it's in the table for me. He asks about my creamer and goes and gets it. The cook comes over and asks me what I'd like. Waitress brings food when it's ready to go . I sit drink my coffee Waitress comes by my table never to see if I need coffee again. 20 minutes has gone by since my first cup, so today I only got one cup. NO I DID NOT LEAVE HER A TIP! SHE DIDNT EARN IT. But the guys that went above DID! FIRST TIME BAD SERVICE...

What has happened? Been a while since I've eaten here and what was served on our plates has me scratching my head. The only thing on our burgers was the cheese and six small sliced miniature mushrooms that we paid extra for, and overcooked salty bacon. No tomato, not a single leaf of lettuce, no onion. Wasn't because it was a busy Friday evening either. All I could taste was the salt. Thank goodness I added the mayonnaise packets. Our server was good, which is the only reason I didn't give our meal there one star. He saved the rating and should be given a raise. Are they all like this now, serving...
