The desserts here are great. Other than that, the restaurant seems to be going down hill. I don't know if they have a new cook or what. We have visited many times in the last couple of years, this was our first subpart experience. Yesterday, I ordered hash browns with my teriyaki chicken. The hash browns were still quite raw. I am not a fan of raw potatoes. The chicken was not cut into pieces at all, it seemed like they ran a knife 1/2 way through the chicken breast in strips, not a big deal but the knife they provided for me to cut it was far beyond needing sharpened. The dish itself seemed like they combined a cooked chicken breast, sauteed onions and mushrooms, then poured some bottled teriyaki sauce on top. Taste was definitely lacking. Now for my biggest complaint. I am a person who typically runs warm. It was extremely cold for the majority of our visit. I mentioned this to our waitress and she explained that it was on a timer but she would mention it to the manager. As I said I typically run warm so it takes it being quiet chilly for me to be bothered. By the time I mentioned it, my children were also mentioning being cold and wanting their coats. When our waitress went to the manager/owner and said something, the manager was extremely rude with her staff and said, "I don't want to hear about it, I don't care." Thankfully the heat finally kicked on for a few minutes, unfortunately it quickly cooled back down. The manager appeared to be of an age that has passed menapause and the heat flashes that come with it but perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps the lack of heat is an effort to try to save money. There is no money to be made if your customers are uncomfortable and don't want to come back. There's no money to be made when the potatoes are raw and you don't properly prepare food. No I didn't complain about my undercooked potatoes, my dull knife or my poor tasting main dish. I didn't want to stay and freeze any longer than necessary and I didn't want to see our waitress treated rudely again by this owner/manager. Customers see and hear much more than what...

Read moreVery disappointing experience at this Farmer boy restaurant. We decided to go to this one instead of the one we usually go to on Canton Road. In hindsight I wish we would have gone to the one on Canton Road because we've never had a disappointing experience at that one. This visit I really can't say anything good about. The food really had no taste, the hash browns were extremely dry, and even salt didn't help add any taste anything. We had to keep waiting for coffee, and when we mentioned our disappointment with the food even though we had over half of our meals left, the waitress made a comment that they couldn't do anything about it because over half of our meals were gone which was not even close to being the case. She said we could mention something to the manager when we went to check out but we didn't even bother because we were so mad about her comment that we just wanted to leave. I'm not even sure why we got to go boxes because we just promptly left and threw them away. We won't be going back to this...
