THE FOOD @NICOLE'S IS GOOD FOR A HEAET ATTACK OR TYPE 2 DIABETES. YES ITS PROPERLY SEASONED. YES IT'S ENJOYABLE WHEN IF YOU CANT ACCESS A KITCHEN OR JUST DON'T KNOW THE INS& OUTS OF ONE. IS IT A HEAL RISK🤔 ABSOLUTELY. THE OILS I'M sure ARE HYDROGENATED & UNHEALTHY. I DOUBT THEY USE any EEAL BUTTER HERE EITHER & THEY LOAD it up n here, the Margerine is OILY that's how I KNOW. EVERYTHING DOES NOT HAVE TO KILL YOU TO MAKE A PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH. THE GREASE THAT IS DRENCHED IN these plates WISHED I COULD UPLOAD PHOTS TO SHOW YOU. Got 4 pcs of chicken, 2 sides, and a cornbread muffin for $6 or $7 for a special.😲 The chicken was very juicy and of nice size, the sides were piled high, and the muffin wasn't dry. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! They even gave my son a Black Excellence t-shirt for free. The service was quick! I received my food within 15 minutes and the place was packed. I knew it would be good when I saw a bunch of senior citizens waiting inside.🤷🏾‍♀️ They are often picky about their soul food and make everything from scratch. By the seniors supporting this business, I knew it must be REALLL GOOD! 😂 My intuitions were right! I anxiously ate my food in the parking lot. I refused to wait until my drive back to Youngstown while my passenger was indulging in their feast. I still had leftovers for when I got home because the portions were far from skimpy. I would definitely make the drive from Youngstown to Akron just for a meal. Im ready to make the drive right now after writing this post and thinking about just how good it was. I ordered a meatloaf dinner with greens and Mac and cheese also a rib dinner with greens and Mac and cheese...the greens were under cooked a little crunchy and chewy. My friend said theirs was gritty that he tasted and felt a lot of grit in his greens. I called them and expressed that the greens where inedible and the meatloaf was'nt good..all the girl who answered the phone said is I'm sorry...Poor customer service..I just discovered this place and the first two times was excellent. I'm very dissatisfied that they didn't even offer to replace the inedible greens or meatloaf. Don't think I'll be going back due to their lack of care of wether customer is satisfied. Very poor consideration shown by them. Barbeque was tasty and tender that's why they got 2 stars. But not making things right brought the review down low. Sorry Nicole's you all dropped the ball tonight and lost a new customer who would have been a faithful...
