Fast forward to August 2023: The employees at this Pizza Hut location are rude, lack integrity and are highly defensive. After being told multiple times by my first point of contact, Joe, that the location does not give refunds, I was contacted by a "manager" named Delilah. She called and stated that a mysterious "district manager", who's name she refused to give, authorized a refund as long as I returned both of the pizzas I had purchased to the store uneaten. I let her know that my family had begun eating the correctly made pizza. She responded, "Oh, so you're eating the one dollar pizza?" I have no idea what this implication meant (insider cultural jargon I'm left to assume). Then continued to say, "Welp, I won't be able to refund you then. I need both pizzas uneaten". During the entire phone interaction, there was not one apology about the service or treatment. No acknowledgement of error. This is by far one of the worst experiences I've had. I expect for people in leadership to help diffuse customer disputes not approach the matter with accelerant. I still brought the pizza back because I wanted them to see how low the bar was set on what I had received. There couldn't have been any quality check. I wanted to see if there was an ounce of integrity in the employees representing the Pizza Hut brand. Are they really proud of the work that they do and the way in which they treat customers? It wasn't until Delilah thought that I was filming her that she offered a little grace. I asked her to look at the pizza. I asked if it was made to the level of quality and standards of the Pizza Hut brand. She agreed that it wasn't. At this point, she offered an apology. It took 30 or so minutes to finally get acknowledgment and an apology. After the apology she went right back to her defense stance and said that it was "nonsense" that I would go this long and not let the matter rest. That statement spoke volumes. It said to me that Pizza Hut feels that I should accept being treated poorly, disrespectfully and with disregard when I choose to spend my money at its establishment.

Read moreI ordered delivery from this Pizza Hut. I ordered garlic knots with a side of garlic sauce. I paid the additional 59 cents for the garlic sauce because I only enjoy eating the garlic knots when they are dipped in garlic sauce. After the delivery driver left I noticed they forgot my garlic sauce. I called in and was put on hold for 5 minutes. When the gentleman came back on I explained that he forgot my garlic sauce that I had to pay extra for and don't care for the garlic knots without garlic sauce. He put me on hold for 4 more minutes to look up the ticket number. He said "Well I can have the driver drop off a side when he heads in that direction again but don't know when that will be... could be a bit". I said no thanks and asked him to just credit my credit card back since I didn't get what I paid for. He told me that he absolutely couldn't do that and he would give me a store credit of 59 cents. I said no thanks I don't order from you that often and really am now not interested in eating what I ordered now anyways without the sauce so just credit my card back. He refused! I asked who I needed to talk to to get my money back for his mistake and he told me to call the manager in the morning. I asked if he could take my number and name down and he told me no. I said I'd call the manager and my credit card company in the morning and then asked for his name. He said "I don't give my name out and am now going to hang up on you". I ordered $44 worth of food and delivery fees After I ordered, I looked at the order and it had the delivery address of the Pizza Hut not my address. Somehow my profile address was changed to the Pizza Hut. So I changed it back to my address and called them to correct for the delivery. They said they didn't have my order and to call the one on W Market Street. I called them and they didn't have my order and said that Copley Road was screwing with me. I called them back and the person was very rude and said that they canceled my order. They said I should order pickup.
I tried again today. 4/12/2024. Made sure my profile had my address. Door Dash delivered to the Pizza Hut even after I texted my address as talked to the delivery guy. HE said he did his job and wouldn't drive another 3 minutes to me. I guess he's right.
Now I have to wait until it posts to my credit card to cancel the charge.
