China Star Chinese Food Restaurant has been my food savior for the last ten years,as they deliver delicious Chinese food from eleven in the morning,to eleven at night, regardless of rain, snow,crime,or darkness!🤔China is great for,after church, football games,and get together with family and friends,the employees are all very polite and you are getting authentic Chinese good, especially,all the very great vegetables!!!,cooked AL -DENTE!!!!,plus the delicious soy sauce.I always order the crispy,fried chicken wings, Xtra crispy, and the egg rolls.The similar "spring rolls" are fantastic!, especially when you squeeze on the "duck sauce" and bite down.Also, the fried fish is the bomb on a Friday, finally,the butterfly shrimp is out of this world,thick and plenty! Discovered this gem by accident. Being foodies and world traveller's we know the Best places to eat are the mom and pop establishment's. We were exploring the area and decided to dine in (Feb-b4 covid19) definitely Not a classy place. Totally Mom and Pop. Pictures the young daughter mom proudly displays. Adds, Character and charm. The freshly made massive eggrolls (6) were to go. Ordered two entree's and they prepared them immediately. Mmmm, Very good! Planning to drive 1.5 hours just to get the same experience. Reading the reviews it seems many either hated or loved it. We loved it. Not just the food but the experience. These Mom and Pop places are disappearing daily. I order the Sesame Chicken combo and asked for it extra crispy, I had it delivered. Not only was the chicken mushy and half of it, I had to spit out because it was inedible. I called to see what could be done. I talked to the owner (she said) and she told me first, they could not do crispy chicken when delivered ( l live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant) I said ok abd mentioned it was chewy, didnt taste like chicken and inedible. I was told that I had to drive to the store and bring my meal back for her to refund my money. I told her no, I could not drive up there now. She said I could come in a couple days but I have to bring my uneaten meal because it depends how much I have eaten to see if I can be refunded.
