I ordered through the app thinking that I could pick up my order faster than delivery would take. I arrived, went to the door to get my order. The guy/employee sitting in the eating area motioned for me to go to the drive thru. I advised that I ordered through the app. He said I still needed to go through the drive thru. Ok! I thought the app would be a quicker convience for me. Seems like he could've brought my food to the door. I guess not. That would've been too much like right. Sooo... I go and sit in the drive thru for and additional 20 mins. I pulled up to the intercom speeker and wait a few more mins. Finally someone says "just a moment". Ok. I'll wait a few more moments (since I've already ordered and PAID through the app). I felt like I had no choice at this point but to wait. The employee came back to the intercom and said "go ahead with your order" and I replied I already ordered they the app. She paused several seconds then replied "I still need a name with the order" I replied you didn't ask me that. You approached like you wanted me to place an order. At the time I gave her my name. She the told me to pull around. I got to the window after 2 other vehicles had completed their order. She opened the window and handed me my food. I asked her what is the point of ordering through the app if I still needed to go through the drive thru along with everyone who still needed to order and pay. I also asked why couldn't the guy sitting in the dining area directing customers to the drive thru bring app orders to the door instead of asking them wait for an additional 20 plus mins in the drive thru. She said because of Covid its their policy (Covid can't be the excuse for poor customer service) She also said "what guy" as though she had no idea that somebody was in the dining area. She even turned her head as though she was looking to see who I was referring to and said "nobody is there". I guess at that point she became frustrated with me and walked away from the window. So I left mad... 🤬🤬🤬. As I drove past the window I seen the guy I was referring to sitting in the dining area in the exact place I told the lady about... Sorry this rating was sooo long. I just thought that such a low rating deserved an explanation.. My family and I really like Popeyes Chicken and most of our experiences are good. This one...
Read moreStephanie (the gm) incorrectly rang out the customer 2 ppl ahead of me. Then she proceeded to rudely tell the customer in front of me “I ain’t got no sandwiches, all I got is fried chicken, and no fries, I ain’t got no help here and corporate won’t fix my fry-chute”.
When it was my turn at the register, I asked if she could do a family order and asked what sides were available, since I’d overheard her telling the previous customer (who left without buying anything) that there weren’t fries.
She rudely exclaimed “all I gots is red beans and rice and chicken”.
I asked when her store would be able to serve other sides, and she told me “idk corporate was supposed to be out but they didn’t come and I’m understaffed”.
I asked to speak to the manager and she said “well I’m the GM”. When I asked her full name, she wouldn’t give it to me; stating “by law I don’t have to tell you”. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told “you’ll have to call corporate”. When I asked for a name and number to call, I was told “by law I don’t have to tell you”.
Megan then told the cashier that “he’s not getting anything, give him his coupon back”
(I got the number off of a customer’s receipt and called) I was told by “Megan” that she’d review the cameras and see if she needed to do anything. I explained that it sounds like I would t be getting anywhere with her, and asked to speak to her supervisor (who is apparently the owner). I was told that “they’re not in now”, so I asked that they call me back.
“Megan” told me that the owner would call me shortly, but I still have not received a call.
Plz do better.
I’ve never been disrespected at a corporate restaurant like this. And I was also aghast with they way Stephanie spoke to the people of color in front of me in line. (Attached is the customer’s receipt which was rung out...
