While the food here may have been good, the server was one of the worst I've seen yet. He took our drink orders first, then came back 10-15 minutes later to take our food orders. We had to wait long for our food and when it came out, almost half of our orders had the items requested off on still, and my soup was forgotten about. This is probably due to the waiter not taking our orders properly. In addition to this one of our plates of fries came out stone cold and hard to eat. While not essential to our meal, I think it is necessary to mention that he didn't ask us how our food was, and as a matter of fact hardly came to our table. And the final issue we had was the check. We were all clearly done (plates pushed away, nobody eating or drinking, most of us on our phones or talking) and the waiter still hadn't delivered our check. You know I first started coming here to this location on Merriman Road back in 2008. my best friend who passed away in 2014 was the one who introduced me to Rockies. That’s what made this place special to me. I used to come and get the Max n knife and a buttery nipple. This place used to be the vibe now reason our favorite bartender had passed away a few years ago. This place went downhill the service, I was just there today. My waitress was very dry. I felt as if she had a problem with me or she just has a problem. But I did not enjoy her service not only that I received a glass of tea with food particles floating in my drink, didn’t realize it immediately until I took a few steps myself. I guess goes to show good things and places don’t last forever. But it’s been a problems my last few visits at this...

This was so close to being a four- or five-star burger joint for me. There were some small things that added up.

First, the temperature of my burger. I ordered it medium, it came medium well/well done. Second, while the burger is huge (despite the fact they call it a "mini") and pretty tasty, it doesn't come with fries. You do get a very generous portion of fries for $3 or $4 extra, but I'd rather have half as many fries included with the burger for an extra buck or two. Second, the dessert. I ordered a sundae with chocolate sauce (no hot fudge; boo!). The ice cream was slightly freezer burnt.

The waitress was pleasant and attentive. I didn't get her name, but I hope I get her the next time I go.
