My grandson needs help for rent last year he called in nobody ever called back we called the number several times nobody answered now he he needs help again nobody answered then recently I was told that I can call only on Friday to resign up for pip can't get an appointment so I'm still calling every Friday @8 and 8:03 there full I signed up a couple of months ago for some classes I told Ms "A" that I wanted to do the electrical program never heard from her about it then last Wednesday she calls ask me to come in Thursday and I do just that I also explained my situation about heap she took my bills driver license made a copy saying she was going to give it to the heap department but she can't guarantee anything well they don't have an appointment for me and all that stopping what I was doing for her at the last minute didn't work in my favor everything she told me the first time about getting a gas card to get to Ohio means job was a lie then running up there Thursday the gas card changed she has to make sure I'm going first and now guess what the classes are free in Ohio period so what are they paying for? and guess what else ? I’ve been calling the HEAP line every morning for at least 2 months, they say call at 7am but when you do the appointments are already filled, so I started calling at 6:30 to get ahead of the rush it told me appointments were already filled, so I call at 6am the line says the appointments are already filled, so I literally started calling at 5:30am and the line says please call back at 7am in the morning- and this is repeatedly every day for 2 months it actually became a part of my morning routine 🤦🏾‍♀️ My question is, how can I actually get through to somebody? Since the phone number that’s given on the website and 211 isn’t working. They’ve been known to help me before but this year is just impossible so as soon as I’m able to reach someone they’ll get those other 2 stars back. I am new to Ohio and have been trying to get help from PIPP since October of last year! It is a huge miscommunication, lack of information provided, they say they did not get the things I sent through email even though I verified it was sent. Electric was shut off once then she said that I had to verify being behind on bills from October of last year. Now they came and shut it off again and she tells me this morning that as of July 1st my application is no longer valid due to new state regulations! Mind you first energy wont let you pay them if you are in limbo with PIPP so my bill is now $2700 freaking dollars to get it back on. They have a "CRISIS" program that you cant get an appointment with and so it is 90 degrees and we have no electric because these people dropped the ball! now they say I have to start alllllllll over.......
