Having been coming here years, would not say at all regularly, but use to like the atmosphere. I was treated rude once but decided to give it another chance. Last time was ok, loud, but no one was rude at least, came back today, got my tea, sat at a table and within minutes of coming in, the guy working decided to talk about my vehicle and how āthe guy that drives it must say look at meā and how it āmust attract copsā and then the female coworker chimed in, saying āit hurts other drivers eyesā lol. Guess they would know better than the owner of the car, but with all of their wisdom, they didnāt realize that maybe, the owner of the car sitting in front of coffee shop, might possibly be in there, hearing you. Weird concept. So I considered the source, as he was saying how high he was, and they were making fun of other coworkers hair that wasnāt there to hear it, and that Iām obviously more intelligent and have more customer service skills than them. It stinks that this place has the potential to be better, in a cute neighborhood, but isnāt because of some of the staff. Reading other reviews, many agree, maybe the owner should look at this and provide staff training or...

Angel Falls Coffee Company is a long-standing favorite in the Akron areaāand for good reason. Itās frequently voted one of the top ten coffee shops in the Akron Beacon Journalās Community Choice Awards, and once you visit, itās easy to see why.
The atmosphere is warm and full of character, with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern decor. Old record album covers, unique artwork, and historic photos line the walls, giving the space a creative and cozy vibe. Seating can be limited, especially on chilly or rainy days when the sidewalk tables arenāt ideal, but itās worth the wait if you can snag a spot.
The coffee is great, and the bakery case always has tasty treats and quick bites. My wife had one of their seasonal lattes and loved it. While they donāt offer frozen or blended coffee drinks (my usual go-to), there are plenty of other options. The steamers and non-coffee drinks were a hit with my kids.
Whether youāre stopping in to relax with a book or catching up with friends, Angel Falls is a local gem with plenty of charm and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am pity about what i gonna say but i think i should be honest as a coffee person who fell in love with this place as soon as i walked in. atmosphere is so nice, wooden decorļ¼ simple but vintage. this is a rare find place that stays open until 9pm, such a warm heart of downtown akron. various pastries and fancy menu (i really love),nice baristas who seem to be friends with many customers. that is why i felt so sad when i suddenly realized that my pistachio cake went sour. nevertheless, the cake problem was solved quickly and i was quite satisfied with both the result and attitude.
rose garden latte is great. But I think the microfoam on this cappuccino wasn't properly aerated. i think it was a little too dry and bubbly, which caused it to sit on top instead of merging with the liquid.
i still recommend this place cuz i believe those were small mistakes happened occasionally. but have to say i was disappointed cuz i had been really looking forward to...
