I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wine4oysters, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a fantastic evening. Not only did the restaurant boast an incredible selection of tapas and wines, but their happy hour offerings were also exceptional.

Let's start with the food. The tapas at Wine4oysters were simply outstanding. Each bite was bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. From the perfectly grilled octopus to the heavenly bacon-wrapped dates, every dish was a delightful surprise for the taste buds. The attention to detail and creativity in the presentation were also noteworthy. It was evident that the chefs put great care and passion into every plate that left the kitchen.

In addition to the tapas, the wine selection at Wine4oysters was truly impressive. The extensive list featured a variety of local and international wines, ensuring there was something to suit every palate. The knowledgeable staff was more than willing to offer recommendations and guidance, making the wine selection process a breeze. Each glass I tried was of exceptional quality, and it was evident that the staff took great pride in curating a diverse and high-caliber wine list.

And let's not forget about the happy hour. Wine4oysters truly knows how to make their guests happy with their enticing happy hour offerings. The discounted prices on both food and drinks were a pleasant surprise, allowing me to sample even more of the delicious menu items. The attentive and friendly staff made sure that I was well taken care of during this time, ensuring that I had a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Furthermore, the service at Wine4oysters was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience exceptional. From the moment I entered the restaurant until the moment I left, I was treated with genuine hospitality and professionalism. The staff's passion for their craft and commitment to providing excellent service was evident, and it truly added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Lastly, the atmosphere of Wine4oysters was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The cozy yet modern decor, combined with the soft lighting and comfortable seating, created a welcoming and intimate ambiance. It was the ideal setting to enjoy a meal with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one.

In conclusion, Wine4oysters is a hidden gem that offers incredible tapas, an extensive wine selection, and a delightful happy hour. The quality of the food, the expertise of the staff, and the inviting atmosphere all contribute to a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Wine4oysters to anyone looking for a remarkable culinary adventure paired with...

I found this Restaurant on a Facebook ad and decided to visit. After reading the reviews, I was excited to go. My friend and I visited and it didn't live up to our expectations. We walked in and weren't greeted at all. In fact, Tatiana yelled rudely across the restaurant asking if we had a reservation (which we did) and when I replied YES, she frowned & turned her head. To add insult to injury, she didn't even bother to check to see if we actually had one.

We decided to look past this because we wanted to sample the Oysters. We sat ourselves and waited to be helped. No one came to our table until the person who hosted the trivia games came to our table and asked if we wanted to play. I informed her that we were still waiting to order. The trivia host had to tell the staff that we haven't been helped. Had that not happened, we probably would have still been waiting. The restaurant is the size of a matchbox so it wasn't hard to tell what tables hadn't been serviced. When Abby (the server) finally came to our table, there was no greeting, pleasant gesture or apology. She just put a carafe of water on the table with 2 glasses and walked away. Now mind you, I had to ask for everybody's names because they didn't bother to introduce themselves.

At this point I'm already disappointed by the customer service but again we wanted to try to the food. After waiting another 7-10 minutes, Tatiana decided to finally come over to our table with a frowned face & poor disposition and took my friend's order. By this time, I was so disgusted with our treatment that I was ready to walk out. My friend encouraged me to stay and eat since we were already there. After 6 minutes (yes I timed it), Abby finally comes back to our table to take my order & acted fearful as if I was going to attack her.

While we were waiting for the food, I noticed Tatiana & Abbys' interaction with other patrons which were DRASTICALLY different from the treatment we received. Needless to say, we were the only BLACK people there. There were smiles, conversation and laughter but we weren't even ask if were ok or needed anything.

We finally got our food which were TWO Baked Oyster Samplers which were ok & the Baked Scallops which were delicious. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Maybe if we were treated better, it would have been higher. Totally killed my excitement. They were not friendly nor welcoming to us. I would not recommend any African Americans to dine here because it would be doing you a disservice. DO BETTER BY...

This little place blew me away. I like to keep track of what places nearby are getting social media buzz and are getting voted for with various awards. But Wine 4 Oysters has none of that. What they did have was a killer Bite 30 menu this year. The Bite 30 menus were mostly boring and a way for restaurants to get a little bit of free marketing without actually putting on a show.

But not Wine 4 Oysters. They put out a good menu, it got my attention, and it was selected by me as one of the few places I went to for the event this year.

Apps:

Lobster, Crab, Shrimp Canoe (romain leaves, spiced avocado creme, peanut-horseradish aioli). This was GOOD. The goo was very rich with crab and shrimp, not a lot of filler. The bite from the aioli really made for a nice lettuce wrap. I liked this one. It was unique. And a random lobster claw on top is always appreciated.

Salmon Toastini (Nova, capers, guacamole, horseradish aioli and artisan bread). This one was nice. Nothing really in this dish to shine other than the quality taste of the salmon. And it was nice. I'd say a perfect average compared to all the fresh salmon I've ever had in my life.

Baked Oyster Sampler (2 of each: Rockefeller, Grill Cheese, On-Fire, Kilpatrick). Now this, was a good dish. This place obviously knows that dates come here and share things, so to provide two of each of these was genius. The Rockefeller was the best, obvi, and the On-Fire was, well, just be careful.

Lobster Risotto (with saffron and a splash of sherry wine (non-dairy). This was nice. Not very risotto-like. But it was a good Spanish-ish lobster rice dish. No complaints.

Macarons (Assortment of 5).

Seasonal Cake (Matcha Cheesecake).

Both desserts came from Trader Joe's. I know it. Not knocking their methods. I'm not a small business owner. And I like Trader Joe's. So, good on them.

Overall, this was a nice little place. I'm super happy that there's good places to eat in that part of town. And I hope that this place continues to participate in Bite 30, and hopefully also Magical...

Shuck YEAH!!! There’s a pearl in every James River oyster at Wine 4 Oysters in Dr. Phillips - a posh area of Orlando that’s nestled beside the Universal Studios parks and resorts. The quaint atmosphere was matched by a spectacular menu that went beyond the namesake’s starring role. We loved the garlic lemon shrimp as an entree, and aww shucks… you must try the duck with apples - totally worth the trip. A great spot for pre-gaming a theme park visit or hitting Halloween Horror Nights (our favorite annual haunt). Beware: a rez might be required, but the bar is pretty comfortable if you go without a plan. It gets busy, and service was a little tight at times, but I appreciate that the owner was behind the bar and was super attentive and supportive of her staff. It’s a small joint, sharing space with the neighboring NoLA restaurant (they both support overflow for one another, although are not owned by one entity). There are some fun and inventive craft cocktails, which range from the quirky to the downright bizarre (one had a spooky theme to it). I’m more of a beer guy - with the exception of dirty martinis - and they offered some interesting options from places like Playalinda Brewing. Score. Look, oysters are a tough shell to crack. If you’re looking for quality, this place should be on your list.

My friend and I dined here last night and it was incredible. I was all smiles after dinner!! Everything was amazing from the quality oysters to the customer service and the wine and cocktails. I recently fell in love with raw and baked oysters and all the topping pairings here were great. The food and drink menus are unique, priced fairly, and have a lot of options. This place is a hole in the wall and a great find, especially for oysters! We had a knowledgeable and kind server, Wendy. She was attentive but not overbearing and again so nice! She explained the wine well and gave us some great recommendations. We had a lot of oysters and everything was delicious! It is paired with homemade crackers which was a great touch. We started with the raw oyster sampler (8 oysters, 4 varieties) and picked our favorite out of it to order on their own and it was the crudo oysters. We then ordered the poached steamy oriental oysters and the baked oysters on fire and again they were incredible. We also ordered both of the caviar oysters and they were insane (positive). There is not an oyster I wouldn’t recommend. They have happy hour Monday-Friday and I will be coming back then! Live laugh love Wine 4 Oysters Bar & Bites!!!
