Ordered at 5:28. Yummi delivered our order to someone else at 6:20, didn't call to tell me (the gentlemen who received our order called me)....I had to call them! Called and was told our order would be here ASAP, called at 7:16 called to find out where it was as we still had not received it. Was offered 20% off and told it would be there in 10-15 min. Called at 7:45 as it was still not there and told them I no longer wanted the food but a refund and the owner hung up on me 2x while I was asking for a refund!
To respond to you again...please stop acting like you the owner are not the delivery person. You have dropped off food to us before and informed us you are the owner and when I called and asked the girl if the delivery guy was the owner she told me yes. I did call and ask the girl working the counter for a refund she said I will have my owner call you, which is why you (owner/driver) called me in the first place. No one was talking about going on Stoneybrook facebook? I don't live there and I am not on any Stoneybrook facebook pages, so..... You also say you "assumed" I knew what was going on? Why would you assume that, did you call me, did anyone from the store call me....NO. I had called you multiple times to find out where our food was and why it was taking over 2 hours. The first time the owner/driver called me I refused the food, and I said was "I no longer want the food, I want my $ back." to which yes I was hung up on. That is just BAD costumer service. YOU dropped the food off at the wrong address, YOU didn't call me to tell me you had screwed up and taken my food to the wrong house, when I called I was offered to have the driver go and pick up the old food and have it redelivered to me, which is GROSS! I had to say 'NO, please remake the food" (which is what I was ok with). YOU didn't call me again to let me know it was taking a long time to remake, YOU don't have your cooks wear masks, YOU hung up on me! These are all YOUR mistakes which make for bad costumer service! The down fall of your business will be on you and how you handle your costumers! Also, I should not have to ask for a refund, I did not receive my order therefore a refund should have been issued to me automatically, I should not have to...
Read moreEdit: had the spare ribs, sesame chickens, yz fried rice. Very delicious, upped the star rating. They use white meat and had the perfect chicken to batter ratio, well done. Boneless spare ribs were very tender, flavor is good. Not better than the regular spot I go to but extremely close. Other spot renders down the char siu so it's thick like syrup. The shining star is the yz fried rice. I can eat buckets of it. The seasoning on it is great. Took my top spot for take out. I'll try the regular fried rice next but happy to have this really close by.
First time visit. I had chicken and snow peas with chicken lo mein. The chicken and snow peas was fantastic. I like salty NY style Chinese and this is different, but very good. The meat tenderness and portions are above perfection. The brown sauce in the snow peas isn't the typical brown sauce. It's different and I kept eating more to figure it out. What style of Chinese is this? I'd describe it as sit down Chinese restaurant sauce. Depth of flavor is there.
Lo mein was ok. Better than most but for my taste I like darker/saltier sauce. noodles were a little overcooked(soft/wet). You're not going to find more portions of the most tender chicken though. They give extremely generous portions of meat which is their high point.
Loved their brown sauce, snow peas, chicken, portions. I like their sticky white rice, very good. Freshest Chinese food I've tasted in a long time. I'll end up getting lo mein from a local spot nearby but I'll definitely try a lot more of their other stuff. Next time I'm getting fried rice and boneless spare ribs if they have that. Not sure if they make char siu bao but I'm going to ask bc it's something I still haven't found locally. I mean, I found spots but it tastes horrible (weird bean curd flavor or no char siu). Local spot I get lo mein has the best char siu sauce but doesn't make bao buns.
Id recommend coming here, it tastes fresh and well prepared. Portions are king here. I wish the owners the best as I'll be coming back. I'm extremely picky with lo mein, no offense as it's good lo mein, I thought it was just decent.

Read moreGood, but not spectacular chinese food. Large portions and able to customize any dish. So glad we have this convenient place to order from in the neighborhood! 5 Stars, because if this was gone, we'd all have a LOT further to drive for chinese take-out.
I'd like to comment about the bad stars from people who are mad that the delivery people wanting the wrong food back instead of giving it to you free. While I can't speak for this particular place, with no returned food, the restaurant has no way of knowing if the employee/driver ate it, took it to a friend free, or let the customer keep it.
Perhaps calling the restaurant first and asking whether you could keep the food, which would take a minute of your time, would be better than coming to Google reviews to give 1 star ratings, when the store may not even have known about it?
When I went to get take out today, the restaurant was dead. Did you really mean to harm the ONLY take-out place Eastwood has in our actual neighborhood, because of a DRIVER issue that the actual business may not even have known about, because you sure didn't indicate that you told them about it in your review? Would you appreciate that at your place...
