Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Alameda

Very disappointed with their customer service. I understand that Friday night's are going to be very busy which is the reason why I pre-ordered my food for a 9:15 delivery my food did not arrive until 30 minutes after the time I had pre-ordered it for and that is not the main reason I am upset with the customer service here the reason that I was upset was that I called to see if I could just cancel the order since it was taking too long and lunch breaks are timed the person who picked up the phone tells me that my order has already left the store and that is what upset me the blunt out lie because they had not left the store because as soon as I hung up it still said that it hadn't left the store 2 to 3 minutes pass by it updated that it was out for delivery pinging the car still at the restaurant and still not moving for another two three minutes meaning that the woman who picked up the phone lied Iam a understanding person and I would have totally been like okay it's fine I get it's busy but the fact that she lied to me is what makes it such bad customer service so by the time I did receive my food it was cold overall I wouldn't recommend this place for the simple fact that when you're paying for a service you want to be treated with respect even if it's just ordering pizza and lying to your customers is a very respectful just disappointed with...

Actually great pizza, super-fast delivery, and when I had a problem with an online coupon, which had no code to enter on the Domino's website, I was able to call the store, and the manager (Harry, I think?) was so accommodating, that he agreed to honor the coupon, and asked only that I email him a screenshot of the coupon I had been offered through a third-party service. He had to refund the original charge to my card and re-enter my order manually, as well as manually enter the new charge to my card, and he was exceptionally nice about taking so much time out of his busy schedule, simply so that I could have that free order of cheesy bread.

Long story short, really cool people, really good pizza (seriously, delicious!), and teleportation-speed delivery. Not the cheapest dinner around, but if you want a really well-made pizza, super-hot, a freezing cold soda, and fast, look no further.

Also, the brownie-cookie might not sound like the food of the gods (especially at $6 a pop), but there really should be a warning on those things. My recommendation? Get two per person, so you don't wind up fighting each other for...

I had to wait a total of 2.5 hours to get 1 medium pizza and a pasta. The restaurant is less than 5 miles away.

I put in my order, and after an hour of not getting ANY updates, I called to check. They said they were swamped and it would take another half hour, did I want to cancel? I said no, I’d wait. 5 minutes later, I got a a notification saying my order was canceled. I called to ask why, they said they didn’t know, and that now my wait time would be 45-60 minutes. 70 go by, again NO updates, I call again to cancel. As soon as my call goes through, I see them changing the status AS they asked to me and told me it had already left, well would soon, I think they just left with it, but I don’t think they charged you after the mishap.

At this point, it’s not even worth it the money. Clearly it’s being terribly managed, especially since this is not the first time. I figured it was just a one off before but clearly not. Do NOT plan your meals around this place, you’ll end up with your lunch...
