Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Alameda

Don't eat here if you have any political views that might be considered even slightly conservative. I was food poisoned and I am concerned that I may get hepatitis A B or C. I had stomach and GI pains for a long time. I had diarrhea for a long time. A lot of people who hate me because I have some conservative views. For example, I am pro-life. But on the other hand, I do not believe in imposing my beliefs on others. That is I would never vote outlaw abortions because that is not my body and I should not control other people's body. But, if you live in Alameda, and you are full blown left wing progressive, people will do things to hurt you. Do not let any progressives in Alameda see your Facebook page. I have had my car egged twice, keyed three times, pinpoint dents pushed in the right front quarter panel and glass bottles put under my tires. This all started happening when I campaigned voted for Alameda Rent Control Ordinance 3148 but voted and campaigned against radical rent control measure M1. I was vocal about this on the Facebook Alameda 94501 page. I can live with progressives. I even share some of their views. But, if you are not full blown progressive and you live in Alameda then do not share your views. And, do not even expect that they are capable of a logical discussion. It just turns into hate and they get all their FB friends to pounce on you. Alameda is a small town and progressives will resort to violence like poisoning your food and damaging your car. And, they will slander you and say things that are not...

A few weeks ago I ordered 2 pizzas online at 5:00, for pickup at 6:30. When I arrived at 6:30, I was told that they were still working on the pizzas. It turns out "still working on" meant "not started yet." I ended up sitting in my car and waiting half an hour while they made my food. It was frustrating, but I understand stuff happens sometimes. The girl behind the register was really apologetic, and offered me a credit towards my next order to make up for the bad experience. I thanked her, and asked for some kind of written voucher. She told me she couldn't give me anything in writing, but not to worry, it was in the computer and would show up next time I placed an order. So I figured I would give them a second chance and tried again today. Unsurprisingly, I guess, when I went to pick up my pizza there was no record of the credit in the computer. Editing review up to 5 stars because Rene the manager gave me a call today and the great customer service from him and Round Table completely made up for the disappointing service from DoorDash. Thanks for making it right. When did Round Table start using DoorDash to deliver? My pizza arrived cold, with the box looking like it had been opened, and the driver didn’t have any Parmesan cheese or red peppers. I’ve never had issues with my pizza being delivered before when it’s been a Round Table driver so I’m really disappointed with this change.
