If you're looking for Americanized Mexican food, this isn't the place for you.
My dad picked this place for his birthday lunch because the food is pretty good, since he's a harsh critic.
To start we had tacos de frijol, not the usual appetizer, with salsa and cabbage. Bit of lime to top it off.
My dad and brother ordered the birria plate, which came very juicy and with a side of tortillas. They voted 9/10.
My sister ordered quesabirrias and also voted 9/10.
I ordered the super nachos with birria and enjoyed every bite. Usually I'm not a fan of nachos unless I make them myself, but these were exceptional. Was only able to eat half but everyone else scared the rest so not a crumb was left behind.
Also, if you like horchata, theirs is pretty good. Not too sweet so if that's your jam, 9/10.
