This review is long overdue but I want to express the wonderful service and food at Dragon Rouge.

Last month my organization hosted a holiday party at this location. We were debating between a few other restaurants but when we came across Dragon Rouge, it was an easy no brainer. The venue is beautiful, spacious and most importantly, very affordable. We were seated outside but under a tent and with heater lamps to prevent the cold.

Customer service is phenomenal. Jimmy was very thorough in explanation, patient and accommodating. Easy and prompt communication through phone and emails. As a party of around 30, we have a lot of allergies and questions that needed to be tended to but Dragon Rouge managed it all. There were also no surprises on the price because Jimmy always provided a quote even though I kept adding/removing people/items from the list. On the day of, Carrie was amazing as well. She checked up on us to make sure we were happy and they made it very easy for our party to move around and play games. The other servers were very sweet as well and didn't mind how loud our party was.

All the food was delicious and accommodating for all dietary restrictions. We got the spring rolls, garlic noodles, catfish, grilled porkchop, calamari, fried rice, papaya salad, and I think that's it.... I received really good feedback from all staff about the food! I personally highly recommend the catfish clay pot, grilled porkchop and papaya salad.

Overall, everyone was very satisfied hosting our holiday party here. Will definitely be back even as a regular customer and highly encourage other organizations to host their...

So if you read my review on Star Pizza my friend and I had lunch a couple days after we did star and we chose Dragon Rouge. Completely different experience! It was lunch and because of the monetary size of the order they didn't charge the delivery fee. Simply wrote it off the bill. Second condiments were accounted for everything had required sauce chopsticks etc etc not like Star looking for blue cheese and celery sticks that didn't come with our chicken wings. But I digress. The hidden jewel in the menu is the Clay pot catfish. I don't even think it's listed as their favorite but if I was to have died that day I would have died a very very content person. It's not your typical catfish flavor. You would think it's a solid white meat like monk or cod but it is to die for and it should be on your on your weekend "hey let's go get a drink and munch" list. I'm not steering you wrong the catfish is off the 🪝 We it also had steam dumplings (I'm still drooling over those), wings of course, calamari, salmon with coconut rice, very very good but in my humble opinion paled next to the catfish. The first time I went there I knew it was going to be a great place just by looking and liquor shelf. The right top shelf labels solid mix of medium and they pour a very good well. Of course the view it's wonderful but this place could be in a strip mall in BFEUSA and I would take a Greyhound bus to get...

Have always enjoyed the al fresco drinking & dining experience on the deck overlooking the "Oakland Rivieera"at and Park St Draw Bridge available at Dragon Rouge. This was my first visit "post pandemic" and even though it was a Monday, the parking lot was full at 5PM. The public health protocols have forced all customer service onto the patio, but the indoor restrooms are available. The specialty mixed drinks were delicious as usual, but service was limited to one waitress trying to please over 10 full tables. It's lovely light at sunser, but got chilly quick as soon as the sun went down. Because the staffing was limited to a few skeleton crew members, I was rooting for the crew trying valiantly to get the checks, drinks & food service out to a full patio of customers. Interactions with staff were a little rushed because they were so slammed, so reordering refills wasn't as easy or leisurely as I've experienced 'in the good old days' there prior. Fortunately, when it came time to close our tab, we had just enough cash & a tip to pay as waiting additional time for formality of signing for credit card service woulda added more delay in freeing up our table. Always being cash folks, it often speeds things up for everyone, and also allows your server to immediately get their...

Very pricey for gentrified Vietnamese food. The food was flavorful and filling, but I feel as though it lacked the authentic flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. The garlic noodles were more like spaghetti noodles and somewhat disappointing. Not pictured, garlic fries with jalapeños and the sampler plater, Lychee tea, and strawberry lemonade. The fries were delicious but overpriced for a muggle, could have had more garlic. The sampler plate, the curry potato lumpia tasted like its made from leftover curry. The spring rolls were acceptable, there was a chicken one and a shrimp one which they did remove the black line. The lychee tea is just lychee syrup and one lychee in there but it was more pleasant than the overly sugared strawberry lemonade that just tasted like some flat fanta with a lemon wedge. Over all the food acceptable but I feel like it's just too expensive for what was served.

I usually come here and eat on the patio next to the water. Very nice. Indoors it is a very long room with a view of yachts and boats going by in the back of the room. The acoustics here are remarkably good. So if you are seated next to a large family, you can still converse calmly with your friend. Very quiet and peaceful with amiable attentive service. Kind of a warm and friendly place. Dragon Rouge comes in three parts: the patio next to the water, a tent for meetings and weddings and the long rectangular dining room. I've never been here at night. Easy to get to coming off 880 going north or south. Right across the Park Street bridge, so you don't have to deal with any city traffic. Plenty of free and easy parking! A very interesting plate is the Pork Chops. I like it because I prefer my meat in whole portions rather than sliced up the way most Oriental meat is served.
