Cinnabon — Restaurant in Alaska

Had to swing in to Best Buy to purchase a Sonos Arc sound bar and Sonos subwoofer. I thought it would be nice to bring home some Cinnabon to the fam. The way Cinnabon is set up, it looks bright and inviting. I casually walked up to the counter, and asked one out of the two employees if they were open. The employee I spoke to responded with a look of disgust, while saying that we're closed until 12 giving a peace out✌ hand gesture. As I started to walk away, I could clearly hear him complaining to the other employee. He was complaining that he was tired of people asking if they were open, and that he has to deal with that question every two minutes.

I apologized openly that the store looked open, the other employee kindly stated that it's not a problem. I don't live on this side of town, and every time I come to the Dimond Center I buy Cinnabon. Came up from Homer, Ak with my mom to go to the mall and get Cinnabon. Was there 1 1/2 hours before the posted closing time and was told that they were no longer selling to the public. I asked what are the doing with the inventory sitting in front of me and the worker jokingly said, it’s for the employees ha ha. Staff was rude, never open when they are supposed to be. Cinnabon should revoke their franchise rights to this horrible business owner. They don’t deserve to use this brands name. Would be great if corporate actually read this and fired the owner from having the rights to use the franchise name. This was not the first time I have been turned away from this location. Crazy they are still in business. Just goes to show stupid people can...

I try to get here every time I get to Anchorage. They have always been absolutely great. The last 2 times I stopped to get my rolls they were not so good. I always get a 4 pack to go. I dont usually get to them for several hours. This last time they were very hard and stale. I couldn't even soften them up in the microwave. The sugary cinnamon was very grainy too. Perhaps I will insist on the fresh ones in the future. I have been dissuaded in the past and told that the packaged ones were fresh also. Not this time. The rolls also looked like the goofy misshapen ones that are set aside. I will try one more time...3rd...
