During a vacation road trip through Alaska, we stayed in the area and were on the hunt for true Alaskan culture and food. This place did not disappoint! The entire look, feel, vibe, location, food, everything was on point for what we were looking for. The place displays a lot of fun decorations and historical pictures and other things from the restaurant's past. You can sit indoors or outdoors. We waited outdoors after we ordered the food. We saw the whole process on where they get their fish! We saw the boat bring the fish to the dock, the guy out there that receives the fish and guts and cleans them maybe 100ft outside the restaurant. From there it's basically ready to cook. Fish really doesn't get more fresh than watching them catch it and clean it while you're waiting for your order! Everything tasted amazing. Best fish I've ever had! I recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome...

The menu was extremely limited. I requested in addition to the breakfast dishes to get a toast/no butter. The server said she needs to get permission to get that added to the dishes. The manager came out of the kitchen seemingly very irritated and stated that they only serve what’s on the menu but ok, for $4 more he will give me a toast of bread. The food came, needless to say that the toast had butter; the breakfast was cold and it looked like they took a few seconds to warm up the dish with the pre-made eggs and pancakes in a microwave. The other dish was a bowl with quinoa, supposedly roasted veggies and tofu but the quinoa seemed just wet, not even cooked; the veggies and tofu were ice cold and there was a bunch of raisins and raw almonds thrown on top. Inedible very awful food. Super rude and unprofessional manager. Will never be going...

TLDR; good sandwiches, even better fries!

We came in for a late lunch on 4th of July weekend, and it’s probably the busiest time of the year for the entire town which makes parking pretty tough.

We ordered a cheeseburger and a caprese sandwich. Both came with fries that were so incredibly crisp and stayed that way in spite of us sitting outside in the cold. The sandwich and burger were both really good too. The focaccia bread they use to make the sandwich is super nice and has a lovely crunch to it.

Orders are taken at the counter and brought to you. We sat outside - the view of the ocean...
