Subway — Restaurant in Alaska

I was very disappointed in how “Karen” the older lady in the facility spoke to the other employees... it was very rude and degrading. We have stopped here quite a few times since we’ve been here and normally are waited on by extremely nice and happy employees and this time I’m sad to say was not that enjoyable. She was very distracted, rude, abrasive and if I might add, if she is the manager then she may want to adjust the way she manages her facility. Respect your employees and they will respect you and work 10x better! Thank you to the young woman running the register! she tried so hard to make up for the older woman’s bad attitude and as she did the older woman would just lash out..... oh and masks are not effective worn under your chin standing over customers food, “Karen”/manager! Showed up at 9:45, noticed they don’t open until 10 so we waited until 10 and they still weren’t open. Saw the little girl and African American guy sneak in at 10:01 wearing pajamas!! they didn’t even physically open the store until 10:07 as they were trying to quickly change into appropriate clothing and get the food out.. We went inside, weren’t even greeted then stood infront of the counter for about 2 minutes before the girl even acknowledged us. All She even told us is it would be 15 minutes until the toaster works, then just stared at us, so we left. Worst customer service ever and worst store. We noticed multiple other people wanting to go in at 10 but they could not because the store wasn’t open, when it was...

I ordered a turkey foot long and asked for the meat to be put on one half only. The discourteous employee obliged but failed to notify me that I'd be charged for two separate 6 inch sandwiches until her cashier charged me 13 dollars for them. I asked the person who constructed my sandwich, can't I be charged for one turkey foot long? She yelled NO, aggressively and then turned to her cashier and said loudly charge her for two 6 inches. At this point, I was fed up and just left without buying anything. I've been to numerous Subways in the past that will always charge me for one foot long sandwich even if one half does or doesn't have meet on it. Operating in this manner is just good...
