Not sure what’s happening here. Very limited food options (I watched two groups of customers come in for food and leave to go somewhere else). No coffee beans for sale. An unswept, greasy bathroom with the only toilet’s seat ripped off and lying on the floor and the paper towel dispenser ripped off the wall. The menus are still boldly Christmas-themed.
The server was kind, but this place, while semi-unclean for a while now, used to be just clean enough to tolerate, charming in its own way, great for more food options than the other coffee shops, and a good place to buy coffee beans. Now I’m ordering food I don’t like and having to sneak into the women’s restroom to find a working toilet.

Read moreAbsolutely love Allan’s Coffee and Café! Whenever we drive south from Hillsboro, we always make a point to stop in. Their breakfast and lunch options are delicious, and the coffee and tea never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and always happy to suggest something tasty.
The only hiccup we’ve had is showing up during posted hours only to find them closed. I totally understand how that can happen with a small business, and I went ahead and updated their hours on Google, along with a photo of their sign to help others.

Read moreEvery time I come in the staff is extremely friendly, kind, and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I’ve been buying a bag of beans every week for the last year or so. My ONLY frustration lately has been the new packaging of the beans. The opening is so tiny that every time I use the coffee grinder at the shop I lose several ounces of grinds in the process of getting the bag out. The plastic zipper also does not work well when grinds get stuck in it. The great coffee itself is the only reason I keep buying the bags, because otherwise the new packaging would send...
