Ellianos Coffee — Restaurant in Albany

I normally don’t post badl reviews and I like to promote businesses especially small ones by ordering from them and telling others to buy from them. On 7/2/25 I ordered a grit bowl on my way to work. When I got to the office I lifted the container lid and noticed that the grits were thick and lumpy. I took a bite but spit them out because they were overly gritty. They were not cooked properly so I returned the bowl to the restaurant on my lunch break. I spoke to one of the employees and requested a refund. The young lady stated she does not handle refunds and that the Manager will have to complete the refund but he is on vacation.” She took my name and phone number as well as the receipt of purchase .Her demeanor appeared to be nonchalant. I have never in my entire life seen such unprofessional conduct from a business. My money and time was wasted here. I will never eat from this place again. Although, I have had unpleasant experiences before I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The Manager is never there! Also, this establishment does not list a phone number online which I think is absurd! I STILL have not received my refund! When I order food I expect quality food...

First time visiting this place in Leesburg Ga and i have to say the one in Moultrie GA is better...drove up to the drive thru waiting to place my order the girl in the window looks back and sees me drive up first off roll her eyes knew it was going to be a bad experience number one i get to the window place my order had an attitude.... She proceeded to hand me my order i say it supposed to like that oh it at the bottom my flavor smh so she turn around to remake it like she really didn't wanna make it over. Another girl come to the window to give me the order. I apologize about that have a nice day. Didnt catch her name but it was a skinny girl with blond hair no personality no customer service skils at all. Want be visting this place ever again!!!!! Worst 1st experience ever!!!!! Horrible experience after making this place a go to for breakfast for my little family. The person at the window attempted to hand me a HOT grit bowl and sandwich plate in my hand, not in a bag. When I asked for a bag, she gave me a bag without utensils or condiments so I had to circle around and sit in line for another 15 minutes. I decided I’d like a refund, they would not refund me on spot, told me to come back during the week when a manager was present. They claimed to have given my name and number to a manager, I have YET to receive a call or any communication regarding my experience...
