Hey, you're looking for restaurants in Albany. If you really can't make it to Athens, with much better food options, you might be tempted to eat here. Reconsider! Lucky's is not hygienic. They don't actually wash their dishes they just rinse them, they don't get new containers when topping up ingredients, they don't consistently rotate stock, they warm up food directly in the steam table, and they don't always fully cook things to a safe temperature, especially calzones, thicker pizzas, and sandwiches. I worked there for a few months and tried to get them to improve but they didn't want to do the work.
All their ingredients except the sandwich tomatoes, lettuce, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and pizza dough are premade foods with preservatives, and even the lard in the pizza dough has preservatives, so you probably won't get sick, especially if you order takeout (cuz then you don't have to eat off the dirty dishes) and avoid those things I mentioned above. But there are much much tastier and safer options in Athens. Try avalanche pizza! I'd go...
Read more1st & last time we will order from Lucky’s. Called in the order & the girl even read it back, correctly, to verify. Additionally, they put cinnamon on the pizza when I stated not to, undercooked the wings, and put cheese on the salad. I called in & received no apology or offer to adjust the charge. Only an explanation that the person who took the order made a mistake writing it down & they no longer offer a side salad, which is why we received the $6 garden salad. You may want to try some additional staff training & ensure your menu is accurate. I will definitely be letting my friends & family know, since Albany has limited restaurant options & we all have been talking about trying...

Customer service deserves 5 stars; I had to knock off one star for the overall rating as they were out of ham when I placed my order. So, I substituted pepperoni for the ham and added mushrooms and bacon.
The pizza was delicious. To me, the sauce is what makes the pizza and I will say theirs is good. I didn't see an option for thin crispy crust on the menu and should have asked as that's my favorite. That said, I'd give the dough on my pizza an ordinary score.
Given the restaurant is new, the interior is spotless clean and the climate is...
