I went by there the other week before closing time and went to the drive thru it was before closing nobody in line. Someone came over the speaker and greeted me and told me to hang on just a minute and someone would be right with me. I waited and waited. I spoke into the machine and asked if anyone there had no reply, and I kept waiting and sitting there for almost 25 minutes, so finally I drove around to the first window and there was a lady standing there with her back to the window and I seen a young man come near her and he looked straight at me and kept walking finally I spoke to the employee so she would turn around and she did wouldn't open the window but told me they were closed and I could read her lips so I motioned for her to open the window so I could speak to her she cracked the window just a little and I told her I sit back there and someone told me just a minute and someone would be right with me she replied oh that's the machine it talks to you I said I know you can tell if someone is in your drive thru and I was sitting there for almost 25mins you weren't closed at that time she said well we are now and I live on that side of town and I'm a diabetic and I had came from the hospital being with my mom and my sugar level was getting low and I had started shaking and all I wanted was a large fry and a regular cheese burger because I still had about a 20min drive before I could get home and I told her that and she said we are closed I'm sorry I said but you weren't closed when I got here which now it's like 45mins before now so that showed me that employee didn't care and wasn't professional but luckily the speedway just up the road was open so I was able to get me something to snack on and was able to get my sugar up enough to get home so thank you speedway and not even a week later early afternoon I stopped in again and placed an order and one of the items was the honey mustard chicken wrap when I got to the window paid for my order then went to the second window to pick up my order and when I checked it which I always do because in the past I wouldn't have all my order I paid for and would have to drive around and wait get to the window and tell them I don't have all my order but I checked my order and they didn't put the honey mustard chicken wrap in there so I got the girls attention and I told her she said they don't have those anymore I said why didn't you tell me when I ordered so I could have changed it for something else because it was for one of my grandchildren I asked her are you just out or do you not sell that anymore because in the past they were bad to be out of alot of things but I know it was due to everyone was having trouble getting things shipped but I told her if you're not selling something anymore you shouldn't advertise it on your board you should take it down well I could tell she didn't like what I said but that's the truth because she closed the window and turned her back to me and didn't even offer me to make another selection for my grandchild so with that being said I used to love that burger King on Hwy 52 because it was on my side of town but there has been alot of different people working there and that has changed alot lately so don't plan on going back and who ever the manager is that's in charge of that restaurant needs to give their employees some education and training on how to act professional and be kind and wear a smile no matter what especially dealing with the public so I hope you will take my comment about the restaurant and put it to good use because I would love to have the old burger King back when you're employees were very professional and very nice and not rude...
Read moreI love BK! Yes I use the coupons that come in the flyer mail. When I buy I usually buy the deal of 3 whoppers, 3 cheeseburgers, and 3 fries for $17+. I eat it for 3 days. I live BK. Tonight a group of us (adults) went with 4 7 year old girls. We bought the $17+ deal and also the to whopper meals with coupon. I also purchased 3 8 piece chicken nuggets with no coupon. All the sandwiches were cold. Buns not warm nor toasted and the nuggets were dry and old!! I mean really cold, dry, and old. We ate there and it was 7:35 or so when we ordered. I did not complain (normally I would) but I chose not to because there was many of us. This was totally unacceptable! As you see the customer service(manager on duty) and atmosphere were good. Read moreI ordered on the app, and when I got to check out it said they did not have the mix n match deal. I checked out and went to restaurant. When I walk in I see mix n match signs everywhere, so I asked the cashier if they were doing it and she said yes. I explained that on the app it would not allow me to, so I asked would they honor the price. She called over the manager and told her what was going on. The manager looked at me and said " it's just how the app works I guess ", so I asked her if she would go ahead and honor the price, she said " no! The order was already made and paid for.
