10/30/24 I had a TERRIBLE experience at this subway. I placed my curbside order and it was supposed to be ready at 5:35pm. I arrived at that time and pushing "I'm here" button on the app. I waited until 6:10 for my sandwich. I was unable to go in and had to ask a good samaritan to ask the Subway worker to bring my sandwich out. The worker refused to bring my sandwich to my vehicle and forced me to come inside. When I grabbed my labeled food bag, the worker was very rude and insisted that I told her my name. When I told her, she informed me that they would not deliver DOORDASH orders to the car. I corrected her and said that it was my personal order, not a DOORDASH order. I told her that I had waited over thirty minutes for my meal. She told me there was no such thing as a curbside order, even though I showed her where it said curbside on the receipt and on the app. She continued to argue and be rude until I finally walked out of the store. She absolutely refused to admit that she was in the wrong. The extremely rude worker was a Caucasian female, skinny, dark hair, probably in her early thirties. As if my experience wasn't terrible enough, my order was not completed correctly. The sandwich was not toasted and I was not given any mayonnaise packets. I went into the resturant and there was two employees, a male and a female (who had a badanna on her head). The male worker asked how many sandwiches? I asked for five foot long. The female worker started to have an attitude about my order that I needed to make this order a cater order. She went on yapping her mouth. I've asked nicely if they were going to service me. The male worker said kindly that he will, but the female worker kept yapping about my order rudely. I left the resturant without food for my family. I am unable to find information on management for this place or on the website. I have never been treated rudely the way I did from all places I have been at for my food critique. This is the worst customer service, and I had to leave without getting food. Waste of time to even step foot on this place. People shouldn't be working if they can't even service happily. Read moreThis is the worst subway not only in Albemarle, but in the whole state, probably. The staff are indifferent and use language in front of customers, they don’t care enough to know the menu, and cannot be bothered to even ask a manager if they don’t know the answer themselves. My husband has gotten food poisoning from there twice, and when we contacted the store, we were told we would get a call back, but no call ever came and that was over a year ago. I know the store cannot do anything about the franchise requirements of having the cups available to the customers, but when a little boy had grabbed a cup, dropped it on the floor, and put it in his mouth, and his mother decided to not buy that cup, the employee put that cup back into the dispenser for the next customer.
