McDonald's — Restaurant in Albemarle

This kind of review is not the kind I care to be writing about at all. I feel obligated to inform the public about my experience at this McDonalds. To begin with the young lady at the front counter told us to use the kiosk we had no other option. She ignored me after that and got frustrated when I would ask for anything. She didn't give me my cup so I had to ask for tbat, there was no ketchup in the ketchup pump near the very dirty condiment and drink area, i was worried about getting to close when getting my drink because I didnt want to get my clothes dirty. My friends and I used the kiosk even tho im not a big fan of the machine itself. He showed my some good reasons the kiosk can be a better option, of you like to customize your food then this is the way to go that way your not holding up the line with your picky order. He paid for his then I did mine and went to the counter to pay cash for mine and I was met by the same aggravated young lady that seemed disturbed by my just being there. We went to sit down and had a bit of a hard time finding a table that wasn't dirty and walking through the store was like a bob n weave around the food and trash on the floor. The store was not to busy at all so a dirty lobby wasn't expected. My friend who ordered his food on the kiosk got his order and it was wrong he was upset because even tho he customized his order on the kiosk they still got it wrong and he order and paid $3.50 for an iced coffee that tasted like a dab of coffee and the rest was milk.When I finally got my order just 2 regular hamburgers that was overloaded with ketchup and mustard but the fries were great because they were fresh. I went to the kiosk and ordered 3 sundaes but the ice cream machine was being cleaned at 8pm no ice cream so i ask them to just give me parfaits instead they only had one parfait. I was done being in this place so I went to the counter to ask for a bag to put my food in and I heard the same employee say that I was driving her crazy. Through all of this I not once acted nasty or said anything out of the way because my thinking has always been two wrongs don't make it right. This may have been the longest review I've ever written and ever been read but I feel it needed to be said and hopefully my next visit will be better since this is our local McDonalds not just a random one...

It's usually nice here. I get that people don't want to work right now, making it hard for the rest of us who do want to work, but it created a weird experience for me recently.

I ordered curb side with the app. I waited a really long time, then as I was about to come in they came out. The man was polite, but he made the comment, "I wish you would have just come in or go through the drive through. We are really busy and it takes a lot of time to bring it out here."

Again, as nice as you can be when making a statement like that, but I feel like complaining to me won't change anything more than my decision to come here for a quick bite to eat or to go elsewhere. I could have complained to him about the amount of time it took to get my food before he even said a word to me about how inconvenient it was to bring it to me, but I was appreciative they did so I was ok with it. It caught me off guard that he did turned it around on me and complained to me about my method of ordering. Not sure how that works, lol!

If I could give a ZERO, I would. We made an order for 3 people. Our food order was uncomplicated and correct. Our coffee order was not correct. We ordered a large hot Carmel macchiato, a large iced black coffee no sugar no cream light ice, and a medium iced sugar free French vanilla coffee.

We got the medium iced sugar free French vanilla coffee, the hot Carmel macchiato, and a small iced Carmel mocha no whip cream. We pointed out that our coffee order wasn't correct and the person working the window said, " No it isn't. That is not what the ticket said." I handed her the ticket and she continued to argue that the order was correct. The order wasn't correct The coffee tasted terrible I like McDonald coffee, but this was terrible. The manager came to the window and we explained what was wrong with the coffee order and let her know it tasted terrible. The manager stated " We don't make the coffee. It comes out of the machine that way." The whole situation was handled poorly. Both the crew member and the manager were rude and accusatory. We just wanted the good tasting coffee that we...
