The Ol’ Doghouse Saloon — Restaurant in Albemarle

If you want a bar where you can be assaulted, this is the bar for you. I saw my friend assaulted by a guy who Is apparently a regular, I would leave immediately if u hear the name tater. The guy is a hot head who starts problems with everyone he lays eyes on. Why they still let him in this establishment is beyond me. But me and my 5 other friends I had with me at the time will never be returning.. there is no security or anyone to watch what had happened, only one bartender. It came as a shock to me learn what my friend went through In the short time we we were apart. I would recommend badin brews instead or the getaway. No one should have to feel unsafe in a establishment such as that, there's no excuse for what happened. Action needs...

Just moved to town looking for a good local bar to hangout and drink at maybe meet some new people, this is not the place. From the minute I walked in the door I was stared down and I sat at the bar ordered a beer. The guy next to me was passed out at the bar the others looking at me like I was in the wrong place for sure. I get up to go to the bathroom and a few people fill in the bar where I was sitting so kind of figured I wasn’t wanted there any more. Ol' Doghouse Saloon allowed us to use their property to feed Albemarle NC homeless. Donald is awesome when it comes to helping the less fortunate. Alvarez House is a homeless veteran nonprofit, but when we go out we feed everyone.
