So, first let me start with I typically don’t even like Taco Bell…at least as a first option but as far as eating later than i should be goes…this is where I ended up. That and my girlfriend is obsessed with it. Anyway, this night wasn’t all too different than any other night. It’s a modern world so we ordered online to pick up. Upon arrival there was a little line, but it’s late and Taco Bell so a wait wasn’t unexpected. After maybe 5-7ish minutes waiting to get to the speaker, I sit for about another 5ish to 10 minutes. When greeted, I am told order when ready (funny) so I advise of the mobile order and receive “Instead of just sitting there you should’ve said you had an order” or something along those lines. It caught me off guard considering everyone had been waiting and I had my window down to hear, so they’re weren’t moving with any urgency. I say okay and wait my turn to get to the window. Only about 3 minutes for this, but I immediately say the name for the mobile order. The girl who I assumed told me to not just sit at the speaker tells me they don’t have Baja Blast but have Mountain Dew. I say I don’t want that, she asks what I would like then, I respond Lemonade. She says we don’t have that and I respond to disregard the drink altogether then. We now sit for another 5-7ish minutes and I hear small chatter and laughing in reference to me. I don’t react but continue to wait. The rude girl walks off and the other young lady asks if I’d like a strawberry lemonade in place of my Baja blast and I say yes. The rude girl comes back and says…”oh now he wants a mother** lemonade” I choose to not react and thank them for the drink and wait for the food. I take it and drive off. All in all, I think I’m pretty patient. I didn’t kick and scream about waiting about 30ish minutes, I didn’t get an attitude about the drink, I didn’t trip about you know utilizing your sensor system for people at the speaker. I would say I’m very collected. I don’t know who Miss Attitude is or what her problem is. I’m definitely cool on the bell for a little while. I don’t expect anything to happen, but I think some customer service training would probably be beneficial at least for the rude girl working the graveyard...
Read moreUpdate again on 4/24/22. They have screwed our orders up the last two times we have gone. Today, we ordered the veggie nacho fries in the tray and were given a burrito instead. We went inside to get the order fixed and 15 minutes late they had made us ANOTHER burrito. We couldn't wait any longer and so we left and get home and find out we were given 2 steak burritos. We are vegetarian and can't eat them. And it wasn't because they were short staffed. There were 3 people in drive thru, 1 front cashier, and 4 people running the kitchen. Absolutely unacceptable. Last time, they left out 3 items and wouldn't answer the phone when we called. They literally let it ring through 3 times and on the 4th time calling they just left the phone off the hook.
Updated again. We foolishly tried to patronize this location again. This time we were told at the order box "our system is down and we cannot take orders". So we told them we had a mobile order and the told us they could fulfill it. So we pulled around and got our order. We checked the order before leaving and we were missing an item. So my husband tries to get in and all the doors are locked. Some employee came to the door and said "we are closed due to our bathroom being out of order". Well we tell him we were missing an item and they offer to fix the issue. Well... 15 minutes later we finally get out replacement item. Absolutely insane! This place needs to close down until it gets enough component employees! When we went to leave, three employees decided to walk outside and smoke by the front door. I say fire them all and start anew.
This location has always been good ... Up until today. We went to get lunch at 145 and they told us they were "out of food due to the lunch rush". I said that I had a mobile order and needed to have it cancelled and they told me to go inside. I went inside and no one was at the front counter, no one greeted me or the two customers in front of me. The drive thru girl was sweeping the line and playing on her cell phone. After 5 minutes I left and cancelled the order through the app. Absolutely...
Read moreTaco Bell of Albemarle...disappointed me upon my last visit. First, you will find a very nice, clean, and well decorated interior and exterior. Wow! This fast food restaurant is well managed, from a cleanliness standpoint, and there is no doubting this fact. Restrooms, often a sticking point in businesses, is not a sticking point with this location. Clean restrooms are what you will find here! The dining room is closed currently, but remains very clean and presentable. What is lacking...food order/preparation accuracy. "Everything is there" was the idea when we I left this business. Nope- four add on toppings were missing. Not a big deal? Yes, this is a big deal. Four separate orders lacked the additional 49 cent toppings. Repetitive of this business model cheats the customer and inflates profits! One should receive what they pay for regardless of the price. With the dining room closed you don't have a chance to return the order and allow the business to "make it right!" Open the dining room and provide a better customer...
