Frustratingly Slow Service Prioritizes Online Orders...
My recent visits to the Subway at 802 E Main St in Albert Lea have been consistently disappointing due to excessively long wait times. It's become clear that online orders are being prioritized at the expense of in-person customers. During a recent visit, I was the first person in line and waited over 20 minutes just to place my order. During this time, staff members were busy preparing numerous online orders while seemingly ignoring the growing queue of customers inside the restaurant. By the time I finally ordered, the line had extended out the door, with at least 15 other people waiting.
This system is clearly inefficient and disrespectful of customers who take the time to visit the restaurant in person. Subway needs to implement a more balanced approach that doesn't leave in-store customers feeling like an afterthought.
To address these unacceptable wait times, I strongly suggest the following: ⢠Add another sandwich-making station: This would significantly increase the capacity to handle both online and in-person orders simultaneously. ⢠Increase staffing during busy periods: Having more employees on hand would allow for faster order processing and better customer service.
Until these changes are made, I cannot recommend visiting this Subway location if you value your time. The current system is a recipe for...
   Read moreI went there to get sandwiches and the only two nice people is the dude who was helping me at front and the lady the person who was VERY rude and disrespectful was the man with the beard. I was trying to get the BOGO for two deal but they said if I wanted that I would have to order online and I told the dude up front that I didnât know how to customize the sandwiches on the app so the dude up front was trying to help me so I could pay through the app and get the deal, but then the dude with beard came over and was very disrespectful saying âWe made your sandwiches so there is no reason to customize through the app because we already made themâ but they wonât give you the deal in the store which I find dumb. They should give you the deal if you have the app and know the BOGO deal code because youâre still paying and getting food from them. If you are gonna go to a subway I would NOT recommend going to the main street Subway. I would highly recommend going to the one in Walmart they are very helpful and always happy to give deals even if youâre not ordering...

Ended up ordering a steak and cheese from from here, it was my bad decision to order so late think around two hours before closing. ended up getting my sub just to find out the fact that my steak and cheese had been substituted with "The Champ" I cant say i wont stop ordering food from here. just saddened that workers are being driven to wits end just enough to make them forget what the order is. normally there wouldn't be a problem with "The champ" my only issue is that there's a very thin layer of cheese and meat. and smashed full of kale leaves, onions, tomato's and banana peppers.
