They said it was highlighted on the door when you come in but we both missed it. When leaving it is a VERY faded highlighted if you can even consider it that. There was a buffet but we went with the Hot Roast Beef sandwich and the Hot Hamburger. Since they were "dinners" they came with a salad bar trip. Salad bar is par and their homemade pickles are LOUD. The food came and it was warm. That's about the only thing good to say. It was white bread covered in a brown gravy which although from a package tasted like burned plastic. The hamburger my Ole man got wasn't cooked thoroughly and was NOT seasoned at all. He said he guessed it was from 6 months ago, they thawed it out, slapped it on the grill to search both sides and plated it. The mashed potatoes were instant but still had no taste and even with him adding salt and pepper, did not eat half of the food. Mine was the same but mashed potatoes on my plate had the most tast. The "roast beef" reminded me of cheesesteak beef, flat or thin and crumbly. The waitress recommended the hot roast beef. When we went to pay is when they said cahs/check only and for "our convenience" they have an ATM. You dont have card readers but you have any ATM? Anyway, our waitress tried to give us a discount because "customer service is her main goal" and knocked off $2 and some change. She also recommended another place down the road for "way...

I’d leave no stars if I could. Terrible, TERRIBLE service. My wife and I were up from downstate and we decided to come here for food. Bad choice. Our server (Melanie I think was her name?) was the worst we’ve ever had. It felt like she forgot about us. Took 20 minutes to even greet us. I got my food and there was a dark brown hair in. After that, the only other time she came back was to drop the bill off. SHE ONLY HAD ONE OTHER TABLE. Not only that, but she smelt like musty mold and her breath reeked cigarettes. For this reason, my wife and I could barely eat our food especially after I found her hair in it. The owners need to realize that their servers are the face of the business and if they can’t do their job and do a good job, let alone make themselves look/SMELL presentable, it’s time...

My family owns a vacation cabin in town, and we used to come visit several times a year, always making sure to stop by and eat here at least once. Ever since, this place has remained a favorite and certainly a highlight of every trip made. Always satisfied with the staff interactions, atmosphere, wait time, and most importantly the food itself. Certainly the best chicken strips I’ve ever had in the 10+ years since we first tried them, and even just yesterday I ate there for the first time in 2 years after not vacationing in awhile and couldn’t have been happier with how everything felt and tasted.
