Albertville Home Bakery & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Albertville

I have used Albertville home bakery since 1976. Meeting friends there for tuna sandwich and coffee , not hard to get a parking space, no smoking smells, just a place that is quite for coffee.. I have had Birthday cakes, Anniversary cakes, Just Because cakes, or cupcakes to drop off for people who I care about.or picking up cookies for my self that are made in the store, never sitting on a shelf for 2 years. They have gluten free cookies ,you can buy 1 or a dozen always the best. My pet 10 th Burfday cake for the Humans they made and it was a picture book cake of my dog where she has traveled to in the last 10 years. Her 12 Burfday, is coming up and we will need another cake! My sons and I were waiting at the bakery counter today while no employee was out front. We assumed they were busy and waited patiently. After a few minutes a young girl quickly came out of the back and asked the lady behind us if she had been helped and they immediately began talking and getting her order. Not even a look at us or did I have time to say that we were there first. We were standing in front of the register and bakery case to the right of it. We left. You made us feel unimportant.

I don't live in the area, and probably a good thing, because I would weigh 400 lbs. I stopped in to pick up a cake for a relative's birthday, and they were about eight people deep, but moved the line very quickly within a few minutes. I wasn't planning on buying anything else, but the donuts looked so good I had to get a glazed and cream stick. They were so fresh and absolutely delicious. Next time I'm in town I'll have to try out some of their cookies and danishes, and maybe a craft coffee from their coffee shop. They had a huge variety, and everything looked so fresh....
