The fried mushrooms were good enough that after having experienced the lack of flavor of some of the menu items, which by the way, the server claimed were very good, I decided to return to take the advice I was given before my first visit to Matrr's. The pizza is supposed to be good enough for any picky eater. Well, I am a prime candidate to put that claim to the test. I'm big on customer service at a restaurant so it took me off guard when my request for sweet tea was met with a look of astonishment and surprise. The mushrooms are on the table and are as good as I remembered. The sauce they make for it is not a great match for fried mushrooms but if it was offered as a replacement for cocktail sauce on butterflied jumbo shrimp, it would go over extremely well. Of course Mater's doesn't serve shrimp. For my main course, I ordered a ten inch, regular crust Better Boy pizza. It just arrived so here goes. The verdict is in. If you would choose Pizza Hut over Domino's, don't waste your time trying Maters. If you're a pasta fan because the sauces are so satisfying, again Mater's is the wrong venue. The Fettuccine Alfredo was my main course on my first visit. Master's munu is corporate dictated with the exception of desserts. Corporate clearly has no clue how to accessorize food that is typically eaten with or includes a sauce. This will be my last full meal at Matrer's. I'll be back for the fried appetizers. The trick to total satisfaction is to know what you want before you get there and have the appropriate sauces with you upon arrival....

Had the barbecue pizza as usual and Greek salad with chicken. It took almost a hour to get our food. We are used to a wait here but this time it was a lot longer. The place was busy but still seamed a little longer wait then other busy times we have been here. The pizza was thinner than usual and did not have near as much barbecue or sauce on it as usually has. The Greek salad was just so so and they don't give you enough chicken for what it cost. I only ate one piece of the pizza because it just wasn't good and we only part of the salad because it had brown lettuce in it. The meal was almost $50 and was not worth it by any means. The waitress keep our drinks full and continually ask if we needed anything and ran wife open the entire time we were there. Brett did a great job and the bad food was not her fault, we gave her a good tip. I don't know if they ran low on supplies and had to cut back on everything or they were just having a bad day but either way it dis not make for a good evening out for us. We are in no hurry to go...

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant! Abby was our server and she was terrible! We got there at 6:23 and put our order in at 6:32. One of the three people got their food at 6:52. The other two people didn’t get their food until 7:18. One of them being a toddler. When our food FINALLY arrived we requested boxes right away and were questioned on why we wanted them. After explaining Abby just got jiffy and went and got our boxes and the check. The ENTIRE time we were there the only time she was at the table was dropping off food. So twice after the initial order. We saw her check every other table multiple times but never ours. When I went to pay the manager asked if everything was okay and when I told her why I was upset she said I had to tell the server to bring it all out together. Since when did food come out separately? She did offer to give me a dessert to go but at that point I didn’t want to wait even longer. There were only 7 tables total and to servers, so it was not busy. Just...

Very friendly service staff. We were sat very quickly. My wife had their Manicotti it came out hot and ready to eat. The garlic bread that came with was amazing as well. I got the chicken Alfredo and although the chicken had a teriyaki taste which didn't compliment the Alfredo both were still amazing. It's rare to have a restaurant give you a large amount of Alfredo sauce to noodle but it was perfect, they soaked the noodles in Alfredo sauce and it was amazing. The Alfredo was homemade and you could taste it. It's nice to go somewhere where the food is made from scratch.

Service was just all around bad. The drinks tasted like diet so we got water instead sad part is we didn't get refills until after we were done eating. When we got our pizza it wasn't cold but it was close to room temp it tasted ok but it would have been really decent if it had been warmer. It was so cold the extra cheese we ordered on the pizza was solid and toppings were not consistent you had a bunch on one piece very little on the next. It sucks because we were so excited about going just to have it be an absolute disappointment from beginning to end.

First time here - we were looking for a good lasagna place, and we found a gem! Everything was really good, including the service (thanks, Rebecca)! There are a lot of reviews in here that point out issues with service, but we did not have any of that experience. We went at around 2:30 for an early supper. Lots of food - you won't leave hungry, unless you just don't eat. In the photos: Lasagna (check out the cheese!), pizza, and calzone.
