Wow, such a sudden big increase in Prices for Canteen’s all Year round, non-seasonal Beers? Yikes!!

I visited to the Canteen Taproom up on Tramway to get Two 64oz Growlers that I own filled up with their non-seasonal Dark and Lusty Stout which has been around for Years and is always on Tap. When the Bar Tender/Server brought me my Ticket/Bill to show what I need to Pay, I was clearly & suddenly shocked when my bill was $30 for Two 64oz Growlers of the Dark and Lusty Stout! This specific Beer a few Months ago cost just $11 or $12 per 64oz Growler of it! I right away questioned the Bar Tender/Server regarding this sudden spike in cost for this non-seasonal Beer that is always on Tap but has never been or cost a whopping $15 per 64oz Growler of it? The Bar Tender/Server could not much answer my question regarding this & just wanted my Money for both 64oz Growlers that I had him fill being over $32 with Tax for this basic, simple, all Year-round Stout which is not even a Seasonal Beer for now $15 per Growler. I was quite shocked at my Server Ticket/Bill for it. That high Price per 64oz Growler of fresh Craft Beer is what I would typically expect & or pay for a great & or excellent limited time, seasonal release Craft Beer at any Brewery or, even a higher Alcohol Beer that is 7.8% ABV or above but never, $15.00 for an all-Year round, non-seasonal, Beer that is always available on Tap & is under 7% ABV!

Canteen has just lost a longtime supporting Customer with them because of this huge & sudden Price Increase that I ran into & had to Pay today for Two 64oz Growlers of the Dark & Lusty Stout! I will be boycotting, staying away from & shopping elsewhere with other local Breweries here in NM for my 64oz Growler fills due to this sudden & shocking Price increase for 64oz Growler fills on Canteen's all Year round, non-seasonal Beers. I expect that many other Canteen Customers will realize, notice this, and do the same because that’s simply too much Money for non-seasonal, all Year-round Beers...

I hate doing this but I have to leave a public record of what happened today just in case... About 2:40 or so me and my father were here and are regulars. This new server brings me water and hes spilling it near the table and making me nervous because I have my laptop open

So this guy tries to reach across my laptop like straight across, and set the water down where my right hand is but theres hardly any room there was plenty of room in front of me but not where he was reaching to put the water.

So again hes spilling it while holding it away from the table and I see him reaching across the laptop to set it down and I freak out and try to take it and the cup sloshes over my laptop--too late.

So I let what staff I knew know but all we got is a free beer. Im at home doing every water-saving trick I know to save my laptop. Im leaving this angry review in case my laptop cant be helped. I might change this review then.

Servers should not be carelessly one handing plastic squishy brim filled cups of water over electronic devices. Great beer but these new servers, omg, just... cartoonish levels of mistreatment. The dude never even apologized it, only the staff who gave my dad a beer did.

There are good people who work here too. Thats why Im angry. I might have lost a 1300 dollar laptop cuz this one guy thinks its safe to pass drinks over an exposed laptop. Even if nothing had gone wrong, that behavior pisses me off!

So we been going to canteen for years being we work down the street. One day after work we go and have some brews.not coming up with excuses. But that day we didnt have breakfast nor lunch.so after our 4 round ,gotta say we felt them.so we got a lil to tipsy. So we left.lady there noticed and wanted to get us a cab. We declined being we were taking our car down the street off aztec to .and our son picked us up.well we went today 11/1/18 to get a beer for lunch.the lady in charge I assume came out and said she only wanted responsible drinkers.okay I get that.but we were not rude to her nor disrespectful. So she asked us to leave and band us.i find that unfair. Especially when we payed 80 bucks for us 2 to be in mug club.shouldnt she have fefunded us our money back.may be due to us being Mexican were banned?or may be cuz we look different?I'll say this we are not like the average white folk that go there.never the less....we are not criminals .I'll say one thing for sure...I use to think la cumbre was prejudice...but I was wrong.they are cool compared to canteen..just warning the brown tattooed folk...dont recommend canteen..again ask them...we just had to much.yet didn't disrespect nor became aggressive. Just kindly refused to get a cab. I'm sure it's not the 1st time some one there drank to much. I've seen it.yet they didnt get banned. May be due to having lighter skin .. She could of simply said ,look if this happens again I'll have to ban you.but not...
