Super disappointed. I keep hearing about this place on the ABQ Foodies FB group. Happened to finally be in the area and decided to order lunch for my family on the way home. We have been wanting to try their bbq and sauce. Ordered on the toast app and picked up the food. BBQ sauce is a super important item when it comes to good BBQ, but we unfortunately received zero BBQ sauce with our $63 order. We chose classic and spicy with different menu items, so that we could try both and instead we had to eat the meal without any sauce….. :(

We ordered a three meat combo and one of the choices my husband wanted was pulled pork, but instead we received chicken/turkey, but it definitely was not pork.

Meat was decent, portion sizes were okay, but without BBQ sauce, we didn’t get an opportunity to really get the flavor that we are looking for in a good BBQ joint. With only a couple of other customers in the store, I don’t even get to make the excuse that “well, they were super busy.”

Probably will not make the drive again. It is becoming to common to have to open your food in the back seat of your vehicle, just so that you don’t waste hard earned money or make a second trip while the rest of your gets cold and ruined. I try and stick to places that I can trust to fulfill my order properly and that can provide what I paid for. Especially, something as standard as bbq sauce at a...

We had 3 we ordered a 1/2 chicken pork ribs a pulled pork sandwich corn mac and cheese and fries totaling 55 with tip. First my sandwich was never made when told manager came all the way out as if i was lying and saw there was no pork in with tye chicken then they gave me a bun with still no meat then they realized and filled the bun with a very scant amount of very dry meat the bbq sauce is put on separately by the customer apparently. The chicken was good the fries were a small amount but good the Mac cheese was small but good the corn on the cob was 2.99 fir a half an ear and it was horrible tasted like it was cooked in viniger. One would think for a 9.50 sandwich that was screwed up twice they would have piled in the pork like is in there picture but no. I think they need to get some help improving customer service and giving clients value for there money. Just to compare we have Famous Daves in Minnesota for that amount it would stuff 5 people with a thing called the family feast i would not return here. It’s really more like a food truck then a...

After hearing great things about Duke City BBQ, we decided to give it a try today, and we weren't disappointed! We ordered the dino bone, a 3-meat combo with turkey and double brisket, along with sides of green chile rice and coleslaw.

The coleslaw was fresh but a bit too sweet for our taste. However, we absolutely loved the green chile rice! The brisket was moist and tender, and the dino bone was just as impressive—definitely better than Mad Jack's in Cloudcroft, NM. The turkey was also excellent!

While their prices are slightly higher than local chain BBQ options, the flavor is undeniably superior. We also enjoyed their BBQ sauce, which complemented the meats perfectly.

The jalapeño poppers were tasty, though we felt they could use a bit more cheese or saltier bacon for an extra kick. We can't wait to return and try more from their menu on...

Place was empty when I arrived on a Wednesday at 7pm. Ordered 1lb pork spare ribs, corn on the cob and fried okra... The rub on their ribs is slightly sweet and the ribs had a smoky flavor. They were served lukewarm. The corn was half a cob and soggy. I was not asked if I wanted butter and there was none at the condiments bar. The fried okra was from frozen but freshly fried and salted nicely...by far the best part of my meal. Duke City BBQ has two choices of BBQ sauce, spicy and classic. The spicy sauce was surprisingly good, but not too spicy at all. The classic sauce was just OK, perhaps a little bit sweet. Overpriced, lacking in quality compared to price. -1lb pork spare ribs - 1/2 corn on the cob -side of fried okra -fountain soft drink $35.28 with tip

Brisket was smoked and juicy with a nice flavorful bark. The jalapeño torpedo with pulled pork was was top notch. Chicken was just okay. Lacked seasoning and smoke flavor. Maybe cooked too hot and smoke didn't penetrate? Still tasty with BBQ sauce and in a chicken salad the next day. Creamed corn and potato salad were both really good and classic BBQ. The beans were a little too sweet for my taste, I prefer the ranch bean flavor over baked bean brown sugar flavor. BBQ sauce itself was also too sweet but still tasty. Again, I'd prefer less sweetness but not bad. For the price and location next to Boxing bear 4.5/5.

First time here, glad I stopped in. Man at the counter recommended Brisket, I got moist. Tender, smoky, juicy but not too fatty and amazing crust… A+! Cream corn is thick and tasty. Although I’m a Rudy’s fan, I love finding a local place that does it even better. It’s lunchtime on a Monday and the place is mostly empty. Come on folks, support a good local business!
