The staff was super helpful in walking us through the process. You choose a frozen bar from one of their many options, then you choose a coating (none, half-dip, and whole dip), then you can choose to coat it in a topping. I chose a hazelnut crunch bar, coated it fully in milk chocolate, then she rolled it in toffee for me. It was intense and delightful! Very disappointed in the employees! They close at 8 pm on Sunday and I called at 7:45 pm to be sure they were still open. The young man who answered the phone said yes but you have to get here by 8. I said we lived 5 minutes away. My husband arrived at 7:53 pm and found the door locked. He said the employees saw him and scurried to the back. The owner needs to be aware that his/her employees close early even when they know customers are on their way. My kids always have fun getting a paleta here. I personally prefer the cream based popsicles - the fruit based ones seem a bit bland (but I also didn't cover it with chocolate or toppings). The last time I went, I had a horchata + half dip dark chocolate + toffee crunch topping. It ended up being a tad too sweet, I think the perfect combo might be horchata + half dip dark chocolate + chopped nuts.
