The atmosphere itself is fine, nothing too out of the ordinary. The service is interesting. The folks running the front desk where they take your order are also working in the kitchen, so they need to see you when you walk up before they come out. It can lead to delays, but it's not too bad.

My main issue was the food itself. I ordered the pad Thai with the very first level of spice just above zero spice. What I received was literally one of the top five spiciest things I've ever eaten in my life. I'm an Indian guy, 45 years old, and I've eaten an unbelievable amount of spicy foods in my life. So I'm not the kind of person that never eats spicy food. And I can tell you, the very first spice level from this restaurant was nearly inedible. I ate it, because I have my pride, but it really took away from the meal. Looking underneath the insane spice, I could detect what felt like a somewhat runny sweetish sauce, which is not my favorite style of pad Thai. I like it sticky, and only a little bit sweet, but with a balance towards the savory. But this one was nearly inedible because of the lowest spice level.

Bottom line, don't order with any spice because it will probably ruin your meal. This to me is a quality control issue, and shows that the kitchen isn't really thinking about what they want to offer their customers. I'm not a wuss, I ought to be able to handle spice, and...

Good Thai food leaves an indelible memory on one’s palate!

Thai Street fires off on every cylinder! Such delicious PadThai!

It is well worth the trip up to Tramway boulevard! If you live in the area…like me, let’s go get some!!!

We can rave about the fresh-cut vegetables, the succulent fish sauce, the juicy chicken or the delicious rice noodles…all piled HIGH in a glorious scramble, piping hot!! 😍😍💋💋

If it is your first time I will convert you with glee!

Ohh, did I mention they’ll make it mild to super nova(Thai Hot) and just like TaoLin’s, it actually lives up to the hyperbole!

Having lived next to Tao Lin Market for many years, I was able to enjoy their Pad Thai DAILY, what a culinary blessing! When we moved I was so sad. Alas, on my most recent Thai Street visit, I was happy to learn they are under the same umbrella of ownership!! Total win!! I knew my taste buds recognized that delectable fish sauce :) :)

Their Tai Tea & Thai Coffee are just as sweet! Your best expectations are met here!

So yummy and yet so simple, I’ve tried to recreate at home to no success!!

Go get you Tai Burn...

My first and last visit here. I ordered take-out. I didn’t stay and eat and what I saw of the store was a clean café style dining area. There was only one server working. The individual seemed minimally trained and new to the job. My food was ready when I arrived. I ordered the green curry and egg rolls. I was offered soy sauce and sriracha sauce to-go and utensils. I would not recommend this store. The food was mediocre and priced to high. Imagine going out for Italian. You order spaghetti and they serve a warmed-up can of Chef Boyardee and charge you $20. This would be a good analogy. That’s great if you really like Chef Boyardee and want to pay exorbitantly for the convenience of having someone else serve it to you, but that’s not what I...

The food was okay I enjoyed the service more so looking for authentic Thai restaurant. This one was more like fast food Thai food. Bad miss fear was very quiet the peaceful. Very casual attire. Fortunes were fair for the price but advertisers were a little pricing for what you'd got aint small cubes of little tofu. I think this was a self-service restaurant and lease it felt like that the bathrooms are very clean. What about them with clean it? Really shows that the establishment cares and it doesn't look like a gas station bathroom sound a restaurant. The waiters smiled and addressed us politely. I really like that I need to go to a restaurant in the waiters and just mean gnarly..
