Little Anita's New Mexican Food — Restaurant in Albuquerque

We usually love little Anitas - the food is good ; but the service at this location is terrible. We went through the drive through and when getting our order we were asked a simple “you had a shredded beef burrito? It was a big order?” - which we did and it was and we said yes; but we had the wrong order and didn’t realize til getting home and opening it up to sort it out as we normally would. We called and said we were given the wrong order; they were already aware and they said if we’d like to come for it , it was still there and when we agreed they asked for a name. (Given were in a pandemic and we had already opened our order when checking it- we assumed they wouldn’t take the food back as most restaurants wouldn’t ; so given that and the fact that we also weren’t instructed to do so ; we didn’t take our incorrect order with us to pick up our correct order) When we arrived again they did not have any recollection of the order name nor was the order ready, and after re explaining the situation they refused to provide our correct order without us returning the incorrect order. We explained what we were told on the phone before arriving and also that we payed for nearly double the amount that stated on the receipt given to us in the wrong order. Then After listening to the blame be passed in a circle among each of the employees we talked to ; a manager presented themselves and stated that they had to prove to their cook that they weren’t giving away food to family or friends and that’s why they needed the incorrect order..... at this point I just ask the manager for the remaining amount of the money I am owed for the food I didn’t receive (since I did pay more for my own order) then they said they’d give me 2 burritos from my original order to call it even .... I’m honestly not coming back to...

I've been going to little need those for years. This was the worst experience that I've ever had, I ordered 4 plates for my family, they only had one ready, and it was wrong, they didn't put extra chilli, when I told them I wanted extra red chile when I told them to begin with they seemed frustrated. Then they put a scoop of green. I asked for the garnish to be on the side, they looked at me like they didn't want to do it, it was just horrible, I won't be back, and then when they did correct it, It still was wrong. Make sure they repeat order. And for me... They did!! She said everything... Until I got there. Wow!! Okay I gave it another try I really like Little Anita's I don't want them to go anywhere so when I got a plate for myself today so I have to go back and they didn't give it to me and they brought it right out to me which was great the chili which is the best thing there no salt there is no salt literally no salt I put the two little packets that they put in your bag in the food. What a difference that makes I think they forgot to put salt I hope they taste it because before you serve it you're supposed to taste it it is so bland so if you go today just have a bit of salt they're hiring new cooks I think they forgot to put salt. Don’t usually review bad food BUUUUT: We drove all the way from the east mountains to get our bean and cheese with red burritos chili. The one on alameda is the best one but they were closed !! it’s Monday , so we went to the los ranchos location, it was bean burrito Monday they were $1.15 on special but we pot for the full-size burritos that are $3.50 we didn’t check them before we left and when we got home to say they were empty is an understatement it was all tortilla with I don’t even think a whole scoop of beans and very little chili I could’ve made two more burritos off of my one burrito with the extra tortilla that was left it was super disheartening and we probably will not return to this location again. It’s to far away for us to load back up and return them . We paid $20.00 for not even a dollars worth of beans and cheese . Super...
