Adobe Garden At Los Ranchos — Hotel in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque

We actually stayed here in late July 2021, but I kept forgetting to write a review. Everything about this inn was wonderful - the setting, room, breakfast, owners, everything. I hope to go back to ABQ in the next few years, and will try to stay here. It was amazing to stay in an older hacienda. Only issue was finding it after dark, but the owner (I feel terrible I cannot remember her name, she was a lovely lady) talked us to it over the phone. Our GPS was messing up the directions, and there were not many street lights in the neighborhood. I can't say enough good things about the adobe building, gorgeous grounds, and the room. My mom and I stayed here for a week during Balloon Fiesta. The owners had a delicious breakfast ready every morning with something for everyone. For the days when we were up early (before dawn) we were offered an earlier breakfast with quick goodies so we could be on the road. We shared a room and it was very large with two beds, a large private bathroom and a door to the terrace outside. We had a shared kitchenette which was perfect for leftovers or snacks. Our hotel neighbors were quiet and respectful. It really felt like home. There was a television for when we wanted to watch it and free internet. Check-in and check-out were so easy. What a gem of a place! I am a former, long-time Albuquerque resident and only discovered Adobe Garden when looking for a place to stay on a return visit with my daughter. I knew I didn't want the cold atmosphere of a hotel in my beloved hometown, but also worried about feeling safe in a short-term rental because, well, it's Albuquerque.
