Pop’s Ice Cream Shoppe & Coffee Spotte — Restaurant in Albuquerque

We rented this place for my daughter's sweet 16 and let me tell you... I was not disappointed. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our party guests were taken care of and most importantly my daughter and our family. Penny showed us to the back where we could store our personal items and also where I could nurse my newborn. Our party guest all got scoops of ice cream on our tab with my daughter's cake and silly me forgot her candles but Penny was there to save the day! I've never met owners that were so sweet and personable. I was so happy that I found this place on Groupon. I will continue to go here and will definitely recommend this spot for anyone who asks for suggestions for a nice event spot. The owners made everything soooo much better!! I ordered a $3 cone with a single Scoop and he served me an $8 waffle cone with 2 scoops. When I said this isn’t what ordered the other employee said enjoy but didn’t bother to see if I was charged correctly. What I had was NOT Blue Bell ice cream. It was cheap ice cream that was labeled Blue Bell. Weird atmosphere, false advertising and tell your employee to tie his hair back if he’s working in the food service. I do not know why this place does not have more reviews. I visited this shop while travelling from El Paso, wanted an ice cream at night. The service was personable, and high quality. A wonderful FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. We were greeted and served promptly with a smile. The prices are extremely reasonable and I was so happy with the service.
