Wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the fine quality of service from all the staff and management during my 2 week stay in NM. I was visiting longtime friends this past September 2020. They took me here almost every night and introduced me to their friends (regulars at The Office). I felt so comfortable that I even went in alone for lunch one weekday while they were at work, cause I knew I'd know someone there or the staff would chat me up. Matter of fact, Natalie DID that day...she's so sweet! Thank you! Not only were our servers attentive and quick, but they were all working as a team...clearing plates and removing trash from our table even though it was not theirs. Shot out to Lexi, she waited on me multiple times and is a "rock star." Rudy! Rudy is such a gem, so hospitable and genuine, even after I had a few and was probably a chatty Cathy. Lol. A huge tent was set up outside to accommodate the influx of business. Police officers were even present at night, which made me feel safe. Outside and inside seating was available. I enjoyed the "garage doors" that open up to the patio, giving an indoor/outdoor vibe. The music at night was right up my alley...I was looking for the dance floor! I don't watch sports but I can't remember the last time I was in a place that had such an abundance of and well place flat-screen TV's. The food was always delicious, hot and fresh! Those food runners definitely busted their butts. It was so great to be able to get out of the house (and Miami) and socialize in such a safely managed location. As a Wedding and Event Planner and former restaurant and banquet manager, I always notice areas of improvement when other guests might not even pick up on it.. I also notice a great team and a well managed establishment when I see it. Far too often, people are quick to "review" when things AREN'T up to par (hahaha, golf joke). So when I get the chance to acknowledge excellent service and hospitality I do! On my last night, bartenders Derrick and Savanah along with the MOD helped me out with some last minute souvenirs. I was able to score two scotch glasses with the PH logo! Thanks again Rudy and to your fabulous team! I wish you all the best and hopefully they throw you a nice Holiday party this year! You guys were/are...

What kind of manager and team leaves 1 poor girl to manage a party of 30 and another party of 15 by themselves??? Might I add Without so much as checking on the party or server!!! We were seated from 2:45pm to 5:45pm..during this time at leaadt 6 other servers were standing around watching the poor girl attempt to take care of both parties. It took almost 2 hours to get orders placed and drinks out, not the servers fault she did her best. Little to no drink refills .the Food was cold or over cooked. The Mozzarella sticks were burnt. After asking numerous waitresses, numerous times, for simple things like some ketchup, napkins, or even to just clear stuff off the table. I finally snapped at a girl to bring ketchup and to do her job.. The response, "those are not my tables and you need to speak to me politely". The Manager then decided to show up and was even worse. He proceed to makeexcuses for his other servers whom were doin nothing and he was focused more on the fact I said it took 2 + hours to get food and he finds it's so hard to believe. Then proceeds to speak to me about cursing out his waitresses. Sorry sir no one was cussed out.. direct, firm, assertive, and by then irritated sure.. the worst service I have experienced in years.. which is a shame as this used to be a favorite place to visiti.!!! 1 girl, 40 + people, 3 over flown tables..... you do the math!! I will never bring my business to this place again or a party much less. It was embarrassing!!! Thank you to our waitress..I believe her name was Aubrey...I'm sorry!! . She did her absolute best!!!! while her fellow management and employees sat around giggling, and watching her.. the worst...

I want to preface by mentioning that I stayed at the El Verde Hotel and had two completely different experiences in the evening and in the morning with this restaurant/bar. Also, this restaurant has no affiliation with the hotel. They are a part of the golf country club.

In the evening, my experience was great. The vibes were good. The drinks were good too and our bartender was very sweet. I came in on a Thursday at 9:30pm and had a late check in. I was very appreciative that they were still willing to serve me drinks because they closed at 10pm. Morning time comes and you sit down at a table and one of the waitresses comes to you. Our server Esmeralda was really nice and attentive and genuinely made the morning experience a little bit better than what it was. Our order consisted of two coffees, water, and a split plate of huevos rancheros.

I have no idea who they have in the kitchen in the morning, but that was by far the worst plate of food I’ve ever been served in my life. For goodness sake, never order the huevos rancheros. I requested my eggs to be over medium, and they were really runny. Like suspiciously runny. The green sauce that was served with them was watery. The hash browns were barely even cooked. They were practically still raw. The only redeeming quality on that plate were the pinto beans that were seasoned nicely, but were undercooked as well. The coffee was terrible too. I’m super disappointed because the reviews on this place were good. I’m not sure if this was an off day for them, but thank goodness I don’t live here. I would never return...

Service was actually pretty great. However, the kitchen was lackluster. My party was three folks, we ordered an avocado salad, a steak potato, and a carne asada burrito. The avocado salad didn't have avocado, and some was brought out, but, like, a tiny amount. The steak potato thing had almost no steak, but like a huge amount of sour cream. Normally, I wouldn't mention the sour cream, but I ordered (and was charged for) a side of sour cream with my non-burrito, and it never arrived. Also, I didn't have a napkin or anything with the burrito. It was kinda weird. On the atmo: they had like 50 TVs in this place playing sports, fights, etc. 50 is not an exaggeration. Of all the TVs, they couldn't carry and have never carried our state's largest professional sports team. I'm beside myself in that one. We watched the game on our phones. Lovely place, mostly nice staff, but they just "can't even" when it comes to the core competencies of a sportsbar.

A casual watering hole. The impression I got was that the clientele are all regulars and everyone knows your name Plenty of flat screens around the room with a wide range of options to watch. I watched 'The Sandlot' when I wasn't people watching. The bar is well stocked with a varied selection of spirits beyond the standard fare. The menu is pretty extensive so you should be able to find something to your taste and budget. The Office is no more expensive than the rest of the bars in the area and I think their menu and bar are among the top. My only complaints, and they are just mine, is it is hard to find and there is no free WiFi. In today's climate free WiFi is a must. Nonetheless, I will be returning, albeit with my GPS. 😁
