This place was suggested to me since I’m from out of town but I did not enjoy using it for one bit. A real big warning: USE CASH ONLY AND NEVER A CARD!
So, the stall I pulled up into first just took my $3.00 as the hose gun had very poor pressure so didn’t apply the pre-wash properly, I couldn’t get it to return my change even after hitting the stop button multiple times. Only half the car got pre-wash. I should have taken that as a sign and stopped there.
Instead, I switched stalls but now decided against my better judgment and used my card for payment. It didn’t start the first time I swiped so swiped the second time and then I saw a flash that I had a $32 balance and I was thinking “surely that’s wrong” but had no way to print a ticket. I proceeded to quickly rinse off the car, at least the hose gun worked better than the first. When I was done it flashed a $4.75 amount used and $27.25 balance and I decided to just stop altogether cos I wasn’t comfortable anymore especially as there was no way to print a receipt so as to have evidence and a good thing I did because by the time I checked the charge to my card I saw a $7.95 charge instead. I called the number on the window of the control room and it went straight to voicemail, mind you this was at about 9 in the morning on a Friday.
I was told I’d have a leisure time washing my car as I get a chance to destress while doing so but instead I ended up being more stressed, did not enjoy the activity or even get to properly wash my car to my heart’s delight and left there regretting it completely and wishing I’d just used a rag and a bucket of water and just wiped down in the garage. Read moreConvenient location and the property itself looks as though they make an effort to keep it somewhat clean. I stopped by here once a few months ago and used the automatic wash- It didn't do too great of a job so I did end up pulling into a do it yourself wash and that got the job done. In fairness, I probably should have done that to start with since I know touchless washes aren't as thorough. Decided to try this car wash out again today and was really disappointed. The machine that dispenses wipes ate $2 in quarters, did not dispense the product, and the coin return button did not work. Then I used the automatic wash, and since my car wasn't too bad I figured it would be sufficient. Unfortunately it didn't clean it well and left spots everywhere. I then pulled out to a vacuum and it was out of order and had the slots taped over where you enter your coins. I pulled around and sure enough the second vacuum had the same issue. Finally, I went to a machine not marked out of order. I put in a dollar of quarters and the vacuum started. I then went to vacuum the car only to find that it wasn't sucking anything up. Wasted money and time here. Hate to leave bad reviews, but the experience was pretty awful and I left feeling very annoyed by having to go through a lot of trouble and a small amount or money for a car that looks halfway cleaned and not vacuumed. I’ve been coming to this car wash for a while, and I really have to recognize one of their employees, Ulises (I hope I spelled that right). About a month ago, I was using the self-serve bay and had an issue with the coin receptor not working properly. I mentioned it to him, and he immediately took care of the problem and even gave me extra time on my wash — which really stood out to me.
Then, several weeks later (today), I went through the drive-through car wash, and as I was drying off my car afterward, he actually came up and recognized me. That kind of memory and personal attention is rare these days! He thanked me for coming back, gave me a coupon for a discount on my next wash, and told me to let him know personally if I ever noticed anything not working or if there was anything they could improve.
It’s refreshing to see that level of customer service and pride in his work. Employees like Ulises make a big difference — and because of that, this will definitely be my go-to car wash...
