We arrived here late afternoon and the place had lots of space. Service was great, attendants were very friendly and attentive and encourage to try best options . Atmosphere was good I gave one less star only because some areas may need more lighting. But then again it could be that time of the day that we were there- dwindling sunlight, etc. the wall paintings were also very Houston / Tx so it was good for visitors like us!

The food was great and very tasty which is what matters the most! Their sauces were very savory and the crawfish was excellent! Water station was dispensing cold water in the warm afternoon day so it was very refreshing!

They asked us to pay by using the QR code which we did, very convenient but I suppose their system does not update right way because when we were walking outside, one attendant politely inquired if we had taken cared of the bill 😗, I had to show her the electronic receipt and I have her the opportunity to go back inside to check their system. She came back and apologized. I did not feel embarrassed at all because they handled it very gracefully but I could understand if others may feel uncomfortable being out and in that situation. my advice to ownership is to look into how fast their system updates so customers wouldn’t be put in that predicament.

This was just a lucky google search when we were driving in the area so it was such a lucky choice! It was a good start to our Houston visit!

Unfortunately, I didn't even get to taste the food. Initially, the service was pretty good. This was my first time here. The food looked delicious and it smelled really good, as well. My issue was with sanitation practices at this location. I witnessed an employee touching a trash can and then going right back to work without washing her hands. She also touched her hair and approximately 5 minute later went to grab my food and attempted to give it to me. I advised her that I saw her hands and the trash can and she insisted that she didn't touch my food or prep it so it should not be an issue. I told het that's unsanitary, and she did not see how it was a problem and offered a refund. I called back to the store to share my concernd with management amd instead of heating me out she defended the employee and said that it was not considered cross-contamination because the trash bag was clean and she didn't touch the food only the bag. I worked in a restaurant for over 10 years. I have food safety certification and understand what proper sanitary practices are however she insisted on being right and trying to defend the girl who did not wash het hands. I also saw 3 employees drinking beverages by the register In front of customers, there should be a designated place for that.I will never attempt to patronize this business again. Good luck, if you choose to do so, hopefully you don't get sick since they don't practice washing...

This was all take-away from CP Seafood & Daiquiri Bar on Veterans Memorial Dr. You better believe it, it looks as delicious as how it tastes even after a 30min drive home. It smells so good & I was dying to eat it! It was so worth the drive to this new Cajun seafood restaurant! The quality of food, the price for the portion size, the fast & friendly service is beyond amazing. The house sauce with the seafood boil is the perfect balance of garlicky, buttery & tangy. The most popular dish is the shrimp fried rice & reviews says it’s amazing, so I had to try for myself. Reviews were spot on, it came with a mountain of large gulf shrimps you won’t find anywhere in town, it was seasoned to perfection. I make my own gumbo so I had to try theirs & hands down probably the best gumbo I’ve had (yes, better than mine lol). My family’s favorite & star of tonight’s dinner was the shrimp tacos; crispy fried shrimp served on toasted wonton with tangy cabbage slaw drizzled with a spicy aioli sauce, squeeze a little lemon & your mouth will thank you for the explosion of flavors & texture profile & will make you crave for more…amazingly delicious!
