Subway — Restaurant in Aldine

Hey the sub was great but unfortunately the location asks for quite large tips (15%,20%,25%) and it doesn’t appear like without pressing other that I could supply the worker a reasonable tip. So, as I was paying I had to press the No tip option because I couldn’t afford a 15% tip and the shock surprise of asking a tip from people shopping at somewhere as poor as subway/McDonald’s SHOULD BE referenced at the front door to let people know. I felt so bad about not tipping that it was stressful to enjoy my sub. It might be the last sub I ever get unless this tipping option is fixed. To the employee I couldn’t top today I am so sorry that subway cannot handle a default 5% tip to help...

I think this place has a high turnover rate because the kid making the sandwich seemed like he was learning so he moved kinda slow but he got help from the other young woman which was good. I had to ask when the avocado was going to be put on my sandwich and he went to the back to go get it bc we were coming in 20 min before closing so I'm not sure I would've got it had I not said anything.
