There is only one reason why I am not giving a 1 star review, and really it is specifically because of 1 person. I also thought about whether or not I even wanted to leave a review, so here it is! First time eating there on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025. At about 6:35pm I walked in carrying my 3yr old girl, my mother in law and my husband. I'm going to be specific in my descriptions of the individuals involved here, FYI. A middle aged white woman with blonde hair in a ponytail and wearing a green shirt comes up and asks how many in my group, to which I said 4 adults and 1 child in a highchair...one adult was not with us at the moment but was on her way. She stood there for a few seconds looking confused and looked at the people with me and then said "So you mean someone else is coming??" To which I said yes, she is on her way and not here at the moment. Then she said "We don't have high chairs but I can get a booster seat." I said okay that's fine. She walks us to our table and puts down the menus and walks away to get the booster seat. Then myself and my mother in law look in the corner by our table, lo and behold, HIGH CHAIRS. My MIL grabs one and puts it at the table as the girl comes back and condescendingly says "I got you a booster seat because she's not going to fit in the high chair." MIND YOU, you would think I wouldn't know if MY child would fit in a high chair or not?! RUDE. The smallest high chairs in existence are at Wendy's, and even my girl can fit in those! My husband turned to her and said, she's small, she will fit. What baffled me is that this woman took one step back, pursed her lips and crossed her hands in front of her and did not say a word as she watched us place my daughter in the high chair, as if she was expecting to be right. Once we EASILY got my daughter in the high chair, I looked at her and said thank you and she walked away. HOW AWKWARD AND WEIRD ARE YOU LADY? So starting off on a bad foot with first impressions. NOW, let's just say it took OVER AN HOUR to get our food. We were so patient, never once asked our young waitress (blonde with straight hair) what the hold up was because we did not want to be 'those customers.' When we noticed other tables getting food that were seated after us, my husband waved at another waitress, an EXTREMELY kind black woman, to ask what was going on she knew what we were going to ask and apologized profusely about what was going on. She said that somehow tickets got mixed up and our orders did not get put in, but she made sure that ours was coming out next, to which they did. Earlier when we first sat down this same woman let us know that there were children's juices as an option for drinks for my daughter, so sweet. This woman was so accommodating and made sure we got what we needed after the mistake was noted, but omg over an hour for food at an establishment that was not busy?! I want to praise this ONE individual because she was the ONLY waitress of the 3 that looked like she gave an actual damn about what was going on and wanted to make sure everything was right. Our young waitress was nice, but seemed inexperienced. I say all this with the conclusion that we won't ever be back and that was a horrible first impression for...
Read moreWe were in town visiting family. Long before we headed out I placed an order with this place so that we could pick it up on our way home. I spoke clearly and even repeated myself to make sure the order was placed right. When we got there not only was the order wrong, they did not "believe" my partner when he informed them of their mistake. They decided to call me saying "He says there were supposed to be two of this order". Which was a weird move because I've never known a restaurant to call the original person that orders when it comes to adding items, especially when the person paying is right there.
Another weird move was them making us wait by saying they would have the corrected order ready in 3-5 minutes when in actuality it ended up taking almost 30 minutes. We already weren't even supposed to HAVE to wait and then you give us an incorrect lead time. To recap, we ordered two plates of wings with no sides, and now we have one order cold wings with a new order of wings on the way.
We ultimately gave up on the fresh wings and requested a refund. They ended up handing us the "fresh" set of wings during the refund and sent us on our merry way. This came after blaming the cooks in the back all the while for their mistakes. Which was not a good look considering the demographic of the staff. Yikes.
Not only did they waste our time, the server's lack of accountability was infuriating. They never asked for clarification or gave the impression that they were confused, but the moment you call them out on a mistake its all "taking orders through the phone is confusing," as if that is not your job! They literally didn't even give the sauces that we asked for. Just a box of chicken.
There were no apologies for wasting our time or even for messing up in the first and second place and third place. Just hands up "It happens, Bro" attitude while blaming everyone else. It's obvious that the quality of customer service is not important and the staff that represents this business is a good reflection of their...
Read moreThis place is a VIBE. My husband, Alex, and I were briefly in town and found this place online to order takeout from. From the minute we walked in to pick up our order we were amazed by the wonderful customer service....rarely am I at a loss for words....but, God. ❤️ We thought that we were just ordering dinner to take on the road with us but God had other plans! Not only did we leave with the most delicious chicken fingers, fried green tomatoes and potato salad we also left feeling incredibly blessed, encouraged and hopeful. My heart and soul were filled with love and joy from the most intimate, authentic and genuine interaction with Keke a beautiful soul that allowed herself to be used as vessel of God's GRACE AND LOVE. She poured into my husband and me straight LOVE with intention and purpose directly from a power greater than herself. I feel so blessed to have been given such a blessing at the exact moment that I needed it the most. Thank you, Keke, for living in a way that created and held a space for the presence of God to direct me back to our purpose here on earth....loving each other as He loved us. You truly touched my heart in ways that I can't describe and my husband and I are crying tears of joy in the parking lot sitting in our car while I write this review. Hunter, you were also a blessing to us both....thank you for taking the time to be fully present and engaged with us while we waited on our food. Big B BAR-B-QUE will forever be a place where Alex and I encountered God here on earth. I love you both and appreciate you both with everything that i have...
