Checkers — Restaurant in Alexandria

My family and coworkers and myself eat to this checkers every Sunday after work. Today service was horrible. The young girl had an attitude when we asked her to please repeat herself. When we pulled up to the window,we let her know that she was going to get reported. Then she dropped our money on the ground and said why you throwing the money,very rude service. I asked to speak to her manager. Manager blew it off and didn't even know the co-workers name. Didn't know a number for corporate. Shrugged it off. The young girls name is Allysa Baring. Well that's the name we were given not sure if it's correct. I was very upset and very shocked that they allow their workers to behave that way. At my job our customers are supposed to be respected,and that is not how Checkers is. Very sorry...

The food was ok for the price. The ordering microphone in the drive through was pretty muffled and if you can't hear well then you will have a hard time ordering. Our order was wrong after repeating it multiple times and having it read back to us twice. We were on a long road trip so we didn't even bother sitting in line again to correct the order. If you want ok food at an ok price I guess try this place out. If I had known what it taste like prior to going to this place then I would have just gone to Wendy's or something else down the road. As for the outside, the landscape was horrendous and we actually hesitated before going because the curb appeal was not there.

I haven't even tried my food yet but I want to tell you all that every single time I go there it's absolutely amazing. The staff is so kind they're so sweet, and they will take care of you like your family. I been to checkers so many times. And every single time I go it exceeds my expectations. Honestly it's better than most of the restaurants I go to. Most of the time I would rather go to checkers than most restaurants, because y'all make sure that people feel included and feel welcomed. I am so appreciative of all the stuff that works there and how amazing they are and how great they make the food. Always get the mozzarella sticks because on the way home you need to...
